SUPERIOR SUPERVISION:
The MBSC/Nike Sports Camps at Curry College has double the Supervision! We hire two separate staff groups: coaching staff and counselor staff. This ensures that coaches are not overworked and can adequately teach and coach lacrosse every day. It also ensures that your children are being well supervised during all non-sport hours. Also the owners/directors reside in the dorms with campers!
OVERNIGHT CAMP:
Over three quarters of our enrollment is comprised of overnight campers. All meals, lodging, formal lacrosse instruction and leisure time activities are provided for our campers. Overnighters stay 2 per room in student dorms located within walking distance to the fields. Roommates are guaranteed so long as both campers request each other.
DAY CAMP:
Offered to players who live within commuting distance to Curry College or will be staying off-campus. We recommend multi-week sessions but will also accept commuters as one-week campers. Day students will report Sunday, 2:00pm for an initial evaluation. Group lessons will be taught Monday through Thursday from 9:00am – 5:00pm. Day campers will be provided with lunch at our school dining room.
EXTRA ACTIVITIES:
MBSC/Nike Sports Camp at Curry College is one of the only camps that offer nightly OFF-Campus Activities. Our activities are pre-organized and include events such as: MLS Soccer Games, Boston Red Sox Baseball Games, Laser Tag, Bowling, Hard Rock Café, Charlie Horse, Funway Café, 6 Flags (weekend), Water Country (weekend), Whale Watch (weekend), and much much more!
Activities are not mandatory, and campers either choose to attend a few activities during the week, all activities, or no activities. Either way, for those campers who stay back: There will be plenty to do such as our ping pong room, watching movies, board games, card games, volleyball, and more. Counselors stay back to keep the appropriate ratios on the trip and back at the dorms!
Lacrosse campers receive 5 to 6 hours of daily instruction covering:
1. Shooting
2. Dodging
3. Ground Balls
4. Fast Breaks
5. Feeding & Finishing
6. Cutting
7. Stick Skills
8. Clears

In addition, scrimmages (6x6 and full field) take place throughout each session. Campers are evaluated on the first day and are divided considering ability, position, size and age. All campers must bring their own equipment.

Really enjoyed my experience.
“I really enjoyed my experience at camp. I made friends and was able to demonstrate my skills at a competitive level. I learned better throwing and shooting techniques that will help me as an attacker. I want to thank the counselors at Curry College for their time and support.”
