Michael O'Neill

Directing the camp at UC Santa Cruz is Head Men's Lacrosse Coach, Michael O'Neill. O'Neill has over 30 years of coaching experience both collegiately (University of Vermont, Ohio Wesleyan University and The Ohio State University) and in international competition where he coached the Dutch National Team in the 2012 European championships.

Camp Details

Camp Details

A detailed camper registration packet containing check in location, health/release forms, emergency contact info, and a list of things to bring will be emailed to all registered campers prior to camp. Our health and release forms do not require a doctor's signature and they will be collected on the first day of camp.
Check-in for all campers takes place from 1:00-2:00pm on Tuesday, August 12th.
Camp Ends
A closing ceremony will take place at the field on Friday, August 15th at 11:30am. Extended Day campers will leave directly from the field. Overnight campers will checkout from West Hall following the closing ceremony - Parents are invited to this!

Overnight Campers

Housing & Roommates
Campers stay 2 per room and are assigned by age and roommate requests. If you don't have a roommate request, you will be placed in a room with someone near your age. It will be a great opportunity to meet someone new!

Dorm: Stevenson College Circle
Bathrooms: shared
Linens: Not provided
Air Conditioning:  No
Suggested spending money: $40
Medical facility: a certified trainer will be on staff at all times

Campers are supervised 24 hours a day. The staff live in the dormitories with the campers and participate in evening activities. Drugs, alcohol and tobacco are strictly prohibited, and constitute, along with general misconduct, grounds for dismissal from camp without a refund.

Extended Day Campers

Extended day campers check-in on Tuesday, August 12th between 1:00-1:30pm at Stevenson College Circle. You should come dressed and ready to play.

Wednesday through Friday, extended day campers should arrive at the field at 8:45am.

Pick-Up Times
Tuesday through Thursday, extended day campers depart at 9:00pm (lunch and dinner included). Pick up locations for extended day campers will vary and be given out at check-in.

Camp Ends
On Friday, extended day campers depart from the field after morning session, around 11:30am.

Discounts Available

Team Discount: If five or more campers register together, as a group by mail or fax, each camper will receive a $25 discount. Click “Get Brochure” above and print the application. All applications must be received at the same time via mail or fax. If all members of your group pay with a Visa or MasterCard, feel free to fax your applications to  415-479-6061 to expedite processing. Late or individual registrations are not eligible to receive the group discount.
Goalie Discount: To ensure each session has enough goalies for drills and scrimmages, goalies automatically qualify for a special $50 discount. You can call  1-800-645-3226 to receive the goalie discount over the phone or you can indicate that you are eligible for the goalie discount in the “comments” field when registering via our secure website.  Goalie discount cannot be combined with any other discount. Per NCAA rules, goalies in the 9th grade or older cannot receive this discount.


Camp Setting

UC Santa Cruz offers excellent fields with an ocean view, comfortable dormitories and an excellent dining hall.

1). This clinic is open to any and all entrants. 2). Drugs, alchohol and smoking are strictly prohibited and constitute grounds for immediate dismissal from camp. 3). For your safety and benefit, we recommend that you choose a camp that fits your particular skills and level of development.
