DC Sports and US Sports Camps team up to offer an outstanding Nike Girls Lacrosse Camp for high school and youth players at The Baldwin School. Come join Stephanie Markunas, Head Coach at Gwynedd Mercy University, this summer for a great week of lacrosse camp!
At the Nike Girls Lacrosse Camp at The Baldwin School, our goal is to stimulate a love for the game by immersing you in the sport and giving you the kind of focused, intensive training essential to improvement. Over the course of camp, your enthusiasm and self-confidence will grow along with your skills.
- High School Camp for Girls Ages 14-18
- Youth Camp for Girls Ages 8-13
- 8:1 camper to instructor on field ratio
- Daily emphasis on fundamentals, position training, drills and scrimmages
- Every camper receives a reversible Nike practice jersey
- Nike and STX Prizes for outstanding play, sportsmanship and improvement
Stephanie Markunas is a 2012 graduate of Temple University where she was a three-year letter winner for the Owls. Markunas totaled over 50 goals and 100 points for the Cherry and White to earn All-Atlantic 10 and IWLCA Regional Honors after transferring from Penn State. She was an IWLCA Regional All-American, All-Region Second Team selection and named to the IWLCA North-South Senior All-Star Game roster. She was also named to the Atlantic 10 First team in 2012.
Currently, she is the Head Women’s Lacrosse Coach at Gwynedd Mercy University and assistant at Harriton High School who won the Pennsylvania State Championship last spring. She also coaches with Ultimate Goal Lacrosse in PA which runs a U-15 team along with various clinics and travel teams throughout the year.
Markunas was an All-Central and All-Delco pick at Ridley High School after scoring over 100 goals in her career.
Check-in takes place at the Baldwin School field at 8:30am Monday, August 11th. Camp begins at 9:00am. Health/Release Froms must be completed and brought you to camp. Campers cannot be admitted without this form.
Camp ends at 2:00pm each day. There will be a closing ceremony at 1:30pm on Friday, August 15th.

- Noon 1v1, 2v2, fastbreaks and games
- 2:00 PM Campers depart
