DC Sports and US Sports Camps team up to offer an outstanding Nike Girls Lacrosse Camp for high school and youth players at Ursuline Academy. Come join Ursuline's Head Lacrosse Coach, Feffie Barnhill, this summer for a great week of lacrosse camp!
At the Nike Girls Lacrosse Camp at Ursuline Academy, our goal is to stimulate a love for the game by immersing you in the sport and giving you the kind of focused, intensive training essential to improvement. Over the course of camp, your enthusiasm and self-confidence will grow along with your skills.
- High School Camp for Girls Ages 14-18
- Youth Camp for Girls Ages 8-13
- 8:1 camper to instructor on field ratio
- Daily emphasis on fundamentals, position training, drills and scrimmages
- Every camper receives a reversible Nike practice jersey

Ursuline Academy is located in the Cool Spring and Tilton Park section of the West Side of Wilmington, DE. It is less than a mile off Exit 7 on I-95. Serviam Field, located less than five miles away, hosts the school's track, field hockey, lacrosse, and soccer teams.Meet your coaching staff
Feffie Barnhill has been coaching girls sports for over 40 years and has chosen lacrosse as her signature sport. A graduate of The Tatnall School, Feffie continued her athletic career at Ursinus College where she earned 18 Varsity letters in 5 sports.
Feffie coached lacrosse for 20 seasons at the College of William and Mary, in Williamsburg, VA and accumulated a 157-87-1 record. She led her teams to 6 NCAA tournament appearances and 7 Conference titles. While coaching at William & Mary she coached 26 All- Americans and 9 US Team players. After her retirement, she returned to her home in Wilmington, DE to coach at Tower Hill School for the last 12 seasons.Read Full Bio
Feffie was also active as a coach for the US Lacrosse National Team program and her coaching was highlighted by a Gold Medal at the 1989 World Cup in Perth, Australia. She has been a Coach and Clinician for several other countries including Japan, Canada and Scotland. She also introduced lacrosse in South Africa.
Following her term as President of US Lacrosse, Feffie turned her efforts to create the Federation of International Lacrosse, the governing body of lacrosse throughout the world. Having served as the FIL’s first President, she is now guiding the organization toward Olympic recognition.
Feffie Barnhill has been elected to the Virginia, Delaware and US Lacrosse Halls of Fame as well as recently being inducted into the Delaware Sports Hall of Fame. Her alma mater, Ursinus College has honored her with selection to their Athletic Hall of Fame and as a Distinguished Alumnea.
Feffie is currently coaching at Ursuline Academy in Wilmington, DE. Feffie continues her work on delivering clinics for US Lacrosse Coaches Education Program. This program is now available and servicing over 20,000 lacrosse coaches throughout the United States.
Check-in takes place at the Ursuline Academy field at 8:30am Monday, July 21st. Camp begins at 9:00am. Health/Release Froms must be completed and brought you to camp. Campers cannot be admitted without this form.
Camp ends at 2:00pm each day. There will be a closing ceremony at 1:30pm on Friday, June 25th.
