Nike Baseball Camps Is Excited To Be Hosting Camp At Davenport University In Michigan
At the NIKE Baseball Camp at Davenport University, July 14-18, campers are given the opportunity to train like a college player by working with the Panther’s coaching staff and playing on the baseball team’s new field.
San Rafael, CA (PRWEB) February 14, 2013 - At the NIKE Baseball Camp at Davenport University, July 14-18, campers are given the opportunity to train like a college player by working with the Panther’s coaching staff and playing on the baseball team’s new field.
“We are thrilled to be using Davenport’s new field,” states Mike de Surville, Vice President of US Sports Camps. “By training at a state of the art facility, campers can develop technique in the best possible environment."
The Davenport baseball program hopes to bring their first conference championship home to this complex. The complex was completed in 2012 and is home to the Davenport University baseball, softball, and tennis teams. Dimensions for the baseball field are 330' to left and right field and 400' to center with seating for 300. Artificial turf will be utilized for the entire baseball field and outfield for the softball stadium.
Nike Baseball Camps provide focused, intensive training that is essential to improvement for all skill levels. Every facet of the game is covered with an emphasis on fundamentals to help players become valuable team members. At each location, campers are broken into groups with other players of similar age, abilities and goals. Each camp director does their best to advance players to the next level, keeping in consideration each camper’s experience and desire to improve.
