St. John Fisher College Joins The 2012 NIKE Baseball Camp Lineup
San Rafael, CA - NIKE Baseball Camps offers locations nationwide for players ages 6-18 of all abilities and is pleased to announce its latest camp addition at St. John Fisher College, July 16-19, to the 2012 NIKE Baseball Camp schedule.
“Each summer we look to improve our offerings of NIKE Baseball Camp across the country. This summer is no exception with the addition of St. John Fisher College” says Mike de Surville, Vice President of US Sports Camps. “Our camp Directors are our partners and as such have a major stake in providing camps of the highest quality; camps that are fun and improve the skills of each camper.”
Directing the NIKE Baseball Camp at St. John Fisher is assistant coach Patrick Greer, who begins his second season with the program. Assisting at camp will be the Fisher's head coach, Brandon Potter. In his first year at the helm of the Cardinals, Potter coached Fisher to its best season in the program’s 23-year history. Fisher finished the 2010 season with an overall record of 31-14, setting a new College-record for wins in a season.
Nike Baseball Camps provide focused, intensive training that is essential to improvement for all skill levels. Every facet of the game is covered with an emphasis on fundamentals to help players become valuable team members. At each location, campers are broken into groups with other players of similar age, abilities and goals. Each camp director does their best to advance players to the next level, keeping in consideration each camper’s experience and desire to improve.
