Contact Football Camps adds Claremont Mckenna to list of Summer Camp Locations!

Claremont McKenna College located 30 miles east of Los Angeles has been announced as the new Southern California location for this summer’s Contact Football Camp.

Host to many NIKE Sports Camps in the past, the outstanding facilities and perfect weather are sure to make this a premier location for years to come.

Director Jake Campbell has worked with the nation's most elite high school athletes, many of whom are now playing in Division I programs, at the Nike Football Training Camps as the lead running back coach and a SPARQ trainer. He is also a certified Speed, Agility and Quickness Trainer.

Mike de Surville, Vice President of US Sports Camps and operators of the Contact Football Camps stated, “We are thrilled to add Claremont McKenna College to our list of camps this summer.  Lead by Jake Campbell who is also a NIKE SPARQ Trainer, we are confident this will be the premier full contact camp in Southern California.

The 2011 Contact Football Camps lead by Jacob Campbell at Claremont McKenna College runs from July 10-13 and includes a SPARQ Training Program as part of its curriculum (the only Contact Football Camp location to offer this program).   SPARQ is dynamic performance training — explosive, athletically-based movements designed to help athletes/individuals get faster, quicker, stronger, and more explosive.
As with all Contact Football Camps across the country, campers have the opportunity to train each day, work hard, improve, make new friends, and have fun.  Each athlete is encouraged to develop new skills and achieve a new level of play and self-confidence. Coach Mills exemplifies the quality of coaches you will find at any of our Contact Football locations this summer as campers work on conditioning, fundamentals and technique at individual positions.
