Boise, Idaho Selected as the Newest Host City for Nike Golf Schools and Junior Camps
For the first time, aspiring young golfers will have the opportunity to take their game to the next level at a Nike Golf Camp in Boise, Idaho.
(PRWEB) January 22, 2013 – Over 90 locations throughout the United States play host to Nike Golf Camps each year. From week-long day camps at the local golf course to five-night overnight programs at prestigious universities and resorts, Nike Golf Schools and Junior Camps offer a program that is suitable for any golfer across the nation. US Sports Camps has just confirmed the addition of three weeks of Nike Junior Golf Camps at BanBury Golf Course in Eagle Idaho. Eagle is located a short 20 minute drive from downtown Boise.
“We have targeted the Boise, ID area for a number of years as we know the golf community is incredibly strong,” states Nicholas Brunner, National Director, Nike Golf Schools and Junior Camps. “Our team couldn’t be happier to work with BanBury Golf Course and their tremendous staff of teaching professionals.”
The Nike Junior Golf Camps are directed by Jonathan Gibbs. Gibbs is currently the PGA Director of Instruction at BanBury Golf Course. After playing professionally on the Canadian Tour, Gibbs coached players toward successful collegiate and professional careers and is proud to be a part of the Nike Golf Camp family.
“BanBury Golf Course has a tradition of hosting elite events like the 2005 United States Girls Championship, the Pacific Northwest Golf Association Men's Amateur, the Junior America's Cup, and the Idaho State Men's and Junior Amateur Championships,” says Gibbs. “Our staff is excited to add an elite instructional experience with three weeks of Nike Golf Schools and Junior Camps. We know each junior golfer that participates will increase their desire and dedication for this great game of golf.”
Three week-long sessions of day camps are available to junior golfers, ages 7-15. These coed camps take place over the following weeks: June 17th-21st; July 8th- 12th; and August 5th-9th.
