Nike Golf Camps Enhances Experience at Lake Geneva Location

Junior golfers in the Midwest have the opportunity of a lifetime to train with world-renowned coaches at a beautiful facility in Wisconsin this summer.

(PRWEB) March, 20 2013 – Nike Golf Camps has been offering junior golf camps in Wisconsin for years in the Lake Geneva area. In 2013, they are making substantial enhancements to this program by bringing in a world-class coaching staff and changing venues to improve the overall camper experience.

Two week-long sessions are set to be held at Geneva National Resort, giving camp participants access to three 18-hole Championship courses designed by the masters, Arnold Palmer, Gary Player and Lee Trevino. All courses offer meticulously manicured bent grass tees, fairways and greens, as well as five tee boxes offering a great challenge for every level of player. In addition, campers are able to take advantage of the resorts other amenities including swimming pools, arcade center, and lodge-style rooms.

The Nike Camp staff consists of members of the BannLynch golf team including Director, Chad Phillips, and Coach, John Thalassinos, as well as teaching professionals from the Geneva National Academy. BannLynch is one of the most recognizable coaching teams in the world. They currently coach several PGA Tour players including Stuart Appleby, Geoff Ogilvy, KJ Choi, and Aaron Baddeley. Many of the PGA Tour players they coach started as junior players in their programs and escalated to the professional ranks. Chad and his staff are poised to offer the very best junior golf program in the country.

“We are very excited about our association with Nike Golf Camps, and look forward to sharing our teaching philosophies and methods that helped us take five juniors to Top 50 in the world,” says Steve Bann, coach of KJ Choi and Stuart Appleby.

During the day, all Nike Golf Camp participants will develop their fundamentals, ball control, long game and short game. Each afternoon, campers get to play a full round of golf at one of the courses under the supervision and guidance of the camp staff. In the evenings, campers participate in fun, non-golf activities under staff supervision.

Between the level of golf instruction and beautiful accommodations at Geneva National, this will truly be an unbelievable camp experience for the kids.”
