(PRWEB) January 9, 2013 – Superior golf instruction by the finest professionals and college coaches this country has to offer has amplified the demand for Nike Junior Golf Camps nationwide. The 2013 schedule of camps is now available online for viewing and registration. This year, Nike Golf Schools & Junior Camps is proud to announce the addition of over 20 new camp locations, allowing more aspiring young golfers across the United States the opportunity to experience the acclaimed programs.
“We have an incredible lineup of camps for 2013 including a host of new locations across the country,” states Jason West, V.P. for Nike Golf Schools & Junior Camps. “If you look at the network we’ve developed over the years, you’ll find programs to fit virtually every level of player, from new golfers to tournament-level juniors. And our venues cover a wide spectrum as well, from resort destinations to top universities to your favorite course down the street. In the end, it’s about providing more opportunities for young players to improve and embrace the game as a lifetime sport.”
New programs to the Nike Golf Camp network are several overnight locations including Georgia Southern University (Statesboro, GA), Drake University (Des Moines, IA), Eagle Crest Resort (Bend, OR), Woodhaven Country Club (Ft. Worth, TX), Wintergreen Resort (Wintergreen, VA), and many more. These sites have met the criteria necessary to host Nike Junior Golf Camps and the respective staffs are looking forward to helping junior golfers improve and have fun this summer.
These Nike Camps are suitable for young golfers of all ability levels and every aspect of the game is addressed during the week; putting, chipping, pitching, full swing, strategy, mental toughness, rules, and etiquette. Overnight campers participate in non-golf evening activities to make new friends and enjoy some time off the course. In addition, Nike Golf Schools & Junior Camps offers advanced programs for high school and tournament level players who are looking for a more competitive, golf-intensive curriculum as well as week-long day camps designed for juniors golfers looking to hone their games at a location close to home.
