US Sports Camps Unveils For the First Time a Speed & Hurdles Camp in Southern California
The Nike Malibu Speed & Hurdles Camp is scheduled to run two weeks on the campus of beautiful Pepperdine University.
San Rafael, CA - Nike Running Camps launches its first Speed & Hurdles Camp in Southern California at Pepperdine University. The Nike Malibu Speed & Hurdles Camp features Assistant Coach Venus Jewett and specializes in teaching the basics of speed to include; technical, mental and physical aspects of what it takes to be successful in sprinting events. This camp runs June 27-July 1 and July 25-29, 2016.
The Nike Malibu Speed & Hurdles Camp is open to girls entering grades 9-12, as an overnight camp. Campers reside in the dorms at Pepperdine University, eat in the campus dining facility and enjoy the majestic views of the world famous Malibu Beach and the Pacific Ocean. This program runs in conjunction with the cross country veteran camp: Nike Raditude Cross Country Camp in Malibu.
Sprinters have to have a mentality that mirrors none other. This speed camp not only helps your develop speed, but helps you develop a sprinters tactical mindset with mental toughness.
Head Coach Robert Radnoti directs the camp with the support of Assistant Coach Venus Jewett. Coach V is a NCAA D1 and USATF Elite Level 2 coach and is in her third year of coaching at Pepperdine. Take advantage of this opportunity to train with a Division I coach and accelerate your speed. Campers leave camps with Coach V’s “V’s Need for Speed” mentality.
