International Coaching Staff Sets The Vogelsinger Soccer Academy Apart, Defining It As Top Academy
The Vogelsinger Soccer Academy prides itself on selecting highly qualified coaches from around the world.
San Rafael, CA – Since 1965 the Vogelsinger Soccer Academy has provided youth soccer players the opportunity to learn and gain various perspectives of the game from an elite and international coaching staff. Founder Hubert Vogelsinger designed the Vogelsinger Soccer Academy with a staff consisting of master teachers whose demonstrations include demanding instruction, step-by-step clarification and a motivating personality.
The staff includes international coaches with numerous national team “caps” to their credit and several who have played on World Cup teams from such countries as Morocco, Uruguay, Italy and Peru. Other coaches are former professional players from England, Denmark, Spain, Mexico, Wales and Brazil. Each year these coaches come together from around the world to join our professional stateside staff bringing their expertise and passion for the game of soccer to our students.
Each one of these coaches has a unique specialty that makes our program the best education in soccer. “The biggest draw of our Academy is our international staff,” says Vogelsinger National Director Doug Parra. “They want to learn from coaches who have played in other countries and may have different techniques to teach. We are a true international academy. This is what sets up apart and makes us special.”
The Nike Vogelsinger Soccer Academy offers outstanding soccer training for players aged 8-18. The 2016 schedule features camps with day, extended day, and overnight options available. Located at four locations across the United States, the Soccer Schools are held on college and prep school campuses where students are housed in the dorms and play on the outstanding facilities these schools have to offer.
