Nike Soccer Camps Announces New Location at Sewanee: The University of the South!
The Nike Soccer Camps are proud to announce the addition of the Nike Girls Soccer Camp at Sewanee: The University of the South, to an already thriving camp network. Under of the leadership of Camp Director, Patrick Johnston, this camp offers the opportunity to expand skills and knowledge of the game while being challenged by new players and coaches. Johnston brings with him over twenty years of coaching experience, which has included stops at Illinois State University, UNC Greensboro, Barry University and James Madison University. He has also coached professionally with the New Orleans Gamblers in the A League.
The Nike Girls Soccer Camp at Sewanee: The University of the South is designed for girls ages 14-18 and runs from July 27-31, 2012. The camp emphasizes on-field technical and tactical instruction and will provide exposure to the Sewanee campus, coaches and excellent role models such as some current Sewanee Women's Soccer players. To truly appreciate what playing soccer "on the mountain" is like, you must experience it first-hand. What better way to spend a few days this summer than with a group of motivated and capable individuals on our scenic campus. You will find that we create a balance between serious concentration on skills and having a great time on Sewanee’s beautiful campus.
