NIKE Softball Camps Is Thrilled To Announce The 2013 NIKE Softball Camp Featuring Lisa Fernandez
The Nike Softball Camp in Verona, NY at Vernon Verona, Sherrill Schools is scheduled for the week of July 15-19 and will feature 3x Olympic Gold Medalist and softball legend, Lisa Fernandez.
San Rafael, CA March 27, 2013 - The Nike Softball Camp in Verona, NY at Vernon Verona, Sherrill Schools is scheduled for the week of July 15-19 and will feature 3x Olympic Gold Medalist and softball legend, Lisa Fernandez.
Lisa Fernandez will assist her former teammate, Robin Penoyer this summer to bring the softball players of New York the opportunity to take their game to the next level.
“The combination of Lisa Fernandez and Robin Penoyer makes this camp a camp no softball player in the state of New York should miss,” says Mike de Surville, Vice President of US Sports Camps. “ The combination of their international experience and knowledge of the game guarantees campers the opportunity to learn new skills that will vastly improve their game.”
Penoyer brings years of coaching and playing knowledge to the camp. She has been coaching for over twenty years and has sent numerous pitchers to college at all levels of play DI, DII, and DIII as well as Jr. Colleges. In addition she speaks at many softball conventions and camps. Penoyer also played with the Professional Fastpitch Extreme Tour in the 2006 and 2007 seasons.
“We will help athletes by providing necessary skills, tips, and drills that will help them on their journey,” says Penoyer, in regards to her Nike Softball Camp in Verona, NY. “We will incorporate and instill positive self esteem, positive work ethic, and positive communication throughout the week.”
