NIKE Softball Camp At SUNY Cortland Is Back
Come join the fun at SUNY Cortland July 15-19, 2012
San Rafael, CA - NIKE Softball Camps offers locations nationwide for players ages 6-18 of all abilities and is pleased to announce its return to the New York location, SUNY Cortland, July 15-19, 2012.
“We are thrilled to have confirmed our 2012 dates at SUNY Cortland,” states Mike de Surville, Vice President of US Sports Camps. “We look forward to the start of this camp and are confident that this location will be the premier softball camp in the state of New York."
Directing the NIKE Softball Camp at SUNY Cortland is head coach Julie Lenhart. Lenhart began coaching at Cortland in 1995 and in 17 years has a combined record of 561-213-2, making her the winningest coach in Red Dragon softball history. In 2007, she became the 16th softball coach in Division 3 history to surpass 500 career wins and her overall record stands at 681-290-2 in 22 campaigns. Her teams have qualified for the NCAA Division III playoffs five straight years from 2007-2011, including World Series appearances in 1998, 2004, 2008, 2009, and 2011.
Nike Softball Camps provide focused, intensive training that is essential to improvement for all skill levels. Every facet of the game is covered with an emphasis on fundamentals to help players become valuable team members. At each location, campers are broken into groups with other players of similar age, abilities and goals. Each camp director does their best to advance players to the next level, keeping in consideration each camper’s experience and desire to improve.
