Nike Softball Camps Come to St. Charles East Side Sports Complex in Summer 2016.

San Rafael, CA – US Sports Camps announces plans to offer the Nike Softball Camps at St. Charles Eastside Sports Complex this summer, July 11th – July 14th.
Directing The Nike Softball Camp at St. Charles Eastside Sports Complex is Anna Welsh, Head Coach of the Southeastern University Fire. As a player, she earned numerous awards as a shortstop and a catcher. Those awards include NAIA National Player of the Week, All-Conference, All-Region, NCCAA All-American, and NAIA All-American Honorable Mention. She was also a member of the 2000 NCAA National Championship softball team. At just 22 years old, she landed her first head coaching job at Saint Mary’s College (NCAA D-III) in Notre Dame, Indiana, becoming one of the youngest head coaches in the NCAA.
“We are thrilled to have someone as accomplished as Anna Welsh directing this youth softball camp in Illinois. Her experience and expertise as a collegiate coach and NIKE Softball Camp director will make this camp one of the premier summer softball camps in the state,” says Mike de Surville, Sr. Vice President of US Sports Camps.
Nike Softball Camps provide focused, intensive training that is essential to improvement for all skill levels. Every facet of the game is covered with an emphasis on fundamentals to help players become valuable team members. At each location, campers are broken into groups with other players of similar age, abilities and goals.
