Southeastern University’s, Anna Welsh, To Host The 2013 NIKE Softball Camp In Lakeland, FL
The Nike Softball Camp at Southeastern University is scheduled for the week of June 16-20 and will be directed, for the first time, by the Southeastern Softball Coaches.
San Rafael, CA January 15, 2013 - The Nike Softball Camp at Southeastern University is scheduled for the week of June 16-20 and will be directed, for the first time, by the Southeastern Softball Coaches. At this camp, campers will train on the same field the Southeastern University softball team practices on as well as learn drills and techniques of the collegiate level.
Leading instruction is Southeastern University’s Head Softball Coach, Anna Welsh. Welsh became the first softball coach in Southeastern University history on July 1, 2012. She comes to the Fire with an impressive resume, and the experience of building a nationally recognized women’s softball program. Anna came to Southeastern after serving as the head coach at Bethel College (Mishawaka, Ind.) for eight years. In her eight years at the helm of the Pilots, Anna compiled a record of 330-95-1 with six Mid-Central Conference regular season titles and five consecutive trips to the NAIA National Tournament.
