Nike Tennis Camps Directors Recognized With ITA Tennis Awards

San Rafael, CA - Nike Tennis Camps tradition of excellence continued to be noticed nationally as eight directors were recognized with Intercollegiate Tennis Association region and national awards, the governing body announced Tuesday, May 13.

Nike Tennis Camps congratulates directors Jamie Ashworth (Duke University women's tennis), Lele Forood (Stanford University women's tennis), Arvid Swan (Northwestern University men's tennis), Paul Goebel (University of Memphis men's tennis) and David Mullins (Oklahoma University women's tennis) on regional Wilson/ITA Coach of the Year honors.  In addition, assistant coaches Brandon Coupe (Stanford University men's tennis), Frankie Brennan (Stanford University women's tennis), and Cristina Moros (Oklahoma University women's tennis) all received Assistant Coach of the Year honors. 

In DII, Nike Tennis Camps congratulates University of West Florida Head Men's Tennis Coach and Nike Tennis Camp Director, Derrick Racine, on being named the 2014 DII Wilson/ITA National Coach of the Year.  Coach Racine has led his University of West Florida team to a perfect 24-0 record this season and a third consecutive Gulf South Conference championship.  Racine is a three-time Division II Wilson/ITA Men's Tennis National Coach of the Year, a two-time national champion and a 10-time Wilson/ITA South Region Coach of the Year.  Coach Racine hosts an overnight and day camp in June for boys &girls ages 9-18 at the University of West Florida
