NIKE Baseball Camps Partners With The New Jersey Jackals For 2012

San Rafael, CA - NIKE Baseball Camps offers locations nationwide for players ages 6-18 of all abilities and is pleased to announce its return to the New Jersey location, Yogi Bear Stadium.
“We are thrilled to have confirmed our 2012 dates at Yogi Bear Stadium with the New Jersey Jackals” states Mike de Surville, Vice President of US Sports Camps. “We look forward to the start of this camp and are confident that this location will be the premier baseball camp in the state of New Jersey."
Directing the NIKE Baseball Camp at Yogi Berra Stadium is Head Jackals Coach, Joe Calfapietra. The longest-tenured manager in the Can-Am League, 2012 marks Joe’s 10th season at the Jackals’ helm. In 2009, Calfapietra was named the Can-Am League Manager of the Year after guiding the Jackals to the league’s first-half title and a playoff appearance. He also garnered Manager of the Year honors in 2004 when he led the Jackals to a Northeast League championship.
Nike Baseball Camps provide focused, intensive training that is essential to improvement for all skill levels. Every facet of the game is covered with an emphasis on fundamentals to help players become valuable team members. At each location, campers are broken into groups with other players of similar age, abilities and goals. Each camp director does their best to advance players to the next level, keeping in consideration each camper’s experience and desire to improve.
