NIKE Lacrosse Camps Announces Winter Showcase at The Citadel

San Rafael, CA - US Sports Camps, Inc. has partnered with several collegiate lacrosse coaches from the south in offering the 2014 Southern States Lacrosse Showcase taking place January 2-4. The program is designed for female players ages 14-18 who have the desire is to play lacrosse at the collegiate level in the southern region.

All coaches working the winter showcase are from a southern institution and will work directly with campers in every session. This showcase emphasizes the importance of fundamental skills and offers plenty of opportunities to showcase individual talent prior to the spring season.

Directing the camp is Jaime Sellers, Coastal Carolina's Head Women’s Lacrosse Coach.  "Hosting our 1st annual Southern States Lacrosse Showcase at The Citadel is really exciting and we look forward to working with some of the top talent in the region,” says Coach Sellers.  Currently in her third season at Coastal Carolina, Coach Sellers came to Coastal Carolina after three seasons (2009-11) as an assistant coach at Stanford University where she handled the defense and scouting as her main coaching responsibilities.

Other schools that will be represented at the Winter Showcase include Furman University, Guilford College, High Point University, Limestone College and Rollins College.

“Our goal is to provide a positive and fun environment for campers,” says Coach Sellers.  “Our showcase camp is a tremendous opportunity for campers to develop their technichal skills and lacrosse IQ's over the holiday break and prepare for the upcoming season.”
