Professional Sports Camps - Baseball
      or

Since 1946 Professional Sports Camps has operated baseball camps throughout the United States and abroad. We operate with the same principles that have made us successful for the past 62 years:
1) hire a qualified, professional, and experienced staff of knowledgeable baseball coaches,
2) work hard to help every camper improve his/her skills,
3) offer the personal touch that enable each and every camper to enjoy his/her stay, and
4) stay committed to youth as a person, as well as, an athlete.

In addition we offer our incredible Florida Coast Spring Training Site for both baseball and softball.  Open to high school and college teams, our site is located in Ft. Pierce, Florida.  When you attend one of our programs you will be astounded at how you and your team will be treated and cared for. We leave no stone unturned in making sure your experience is beneficial and memorable. The fact that 90% of our teams return year after year is proof alone.  Click on the logo to see more...

LENGTH OF STAY

Minimum of 1 week. Campers are welcome to stay for more than 1 week if so desired (2, 3, 4, weeks etc.). Resident Campers check in Sunday afternoon and ends on Friday afternoon. Day Campers begin on Monday morning and ends on Friday afternoon.

AIR CONDITIONED ROOMS

We are happy to say we have dormitories with air conditioned rooms at our Montclair State University, SUNY New Paltz, and SUNY Maritime camps. Campers stay 2 to a room.

CAMPERS STAYING TWO OR MORE WEEKS

For those campers who are staying longer than one week, they have the option of returning home for the weekend or staying over at camp. There is an additional $240 fee in order to stay over the weekend. During the weekend the campers will attend a movie; either go bowling or play miniature golf, and visit an amusement park such as Mountain Creek Water Park or Six Flags Great Adventure. Campers who decide to go home for the weekend will be allowed to keep their belongings in their assigned rooms.

SUPERVISION

Supervision is something that is a high priority with our camp. All activities the campers participate in during the day are fully supervised by adult coaches and counselors.

The camp has the same objective it has had for the past 59 years, to help every camper improve his skills. We do this through a variety of ways:

1) Lectures
Lectures are given on the fundamentals of the game. Remember it is through the proper execution of fundamentals that you will become a good baseball player.

2) Position Play
During the week all positions will be covered by our staff. Each camper will have the opportunity to learn his primary position, but will also be given ample opportunity to learn any other position or positions he is interested in.

3) Drills Drills are used to teach campers the skills necessary to succeed and the notion of teamwork.

4) Instructional Games
We want every moment of the week to be a learning experience for every camper. It is for this reason that during games, if a camper makes a mistake or does not execute properly, one of our coaches will show him what he did wrong and how to do it right. It's another way of instructing our campers, and leaves them more knowledgeable and improved in their skills.

5) Individual Instructions
Our camp is known for offering that personal touch and giving the individual attention some campers may need to truly learn and understand the game more thoroughly. Staff is always available, on or off the field, to help campers improve their skills.

6) Teach To Understand
We want every camper to understand the reasoning behind the methods we use. It is for this reason that our coaches take the time to explain the reasoning behind why you execute a certain way. If campers can understand the methods, they are more likely to comprehend and remember them after leaving camp.
