Professional Sports Camps
Since 1946 Professional Sports Camps has operated baseball, basketball, and soccer camps throughout the United States and abroad. We operate with the same principles that have made us successful for the past 60 years:
1) hire a qualified, professional, and experienced staff of knowledgeable baseball, basketball, and soccer coaches, 2) work hard to help every camper improve his/her skills, 3) offer the personal touch that enable each and every camper to enjoy his/her stay, and 4) stay committed to youth as a person, as well as, an athlete.
The Big League Baseball, Hall of Fame Basketball, and Hall of Fame Soccer Camps are operated in great locations in the New York and New Jersey area. Each program is run independently of one another. The objective of the camp is to help each and every camper improve his/her skills by stressing the fundamentals of each sport.
Since 1980 the camp has been run by the Carlesi family. The Carlesi's consider all their campers and staff an extended family and conducts the camp with traditional family values.
Over the years we have had the satisfaction of seeing our former campers make their town league, high school and college teams, with some even advancing into professional sports. Today, there are three former campers playing major league baseball right now: Bernie Williams – New York Yankees, Jose Vidro – Washington Nationals, and Brad Ausmus – Houston Astros.
