The camp was a blast! I did not want to go home to tell the truth. I met so may nice people that also share a love for the sport and it was fun to be able to talk with people about their hometown and training schedules. The talks we had were very helpful too. I learned a lot from all of them. I really enjoyed going to Coach Benson's AP class each day. It was on the same level as I am and it helped me set more goals for my team and myself this coming year. All together, the camp was a great experience and I would recommend it to anyone.

I had a fantastic time!! I really enjoyed the speakers that came and talked. I thought it was interesting to hear where our JCITs were going to college and some of their accomplishments!

I had a lot of fun and I thought the counselors were very enthusiastic and motivating; especially Steven Arnold and Brian Potts! They are very knowledgeable and challenge the campers to do their best, and keep the camp exciting for every camper!

I really believe that this camp helped me grow as a distance runner. My passion, already quite high, greatly increased. I have been recommending this camp to all my fellow runners. Thank you for a great experience, and I will never forget.

I've come to SMRC for the past 5 years and each year I think that the experience can't possibly get any better and yet it always does!!! This is the best camp in the galaxy.

The Nike Running Camps were very educational and fun. Both the Track and Field and Cross Country Camps influenced my running, and improved it significantly. I can't wait to come back next year!

Five-Star is the best camp ever! It should be two weeks long! It is the highlight of my summer every year!

This was our first out of state running camp. It exceeded all our expectations. The staff was great. The activities were fun. The various running venues were outstanding.

Amazing Track & Field Experience

This was my first track camp and I thought it was one of the most informative events I have ever been too. I didn't think twice about being away from home. I was tired at the end of the day, but in a good way. I can't what until club track and school track start, even football, so I can tryout what I learned.

Very good camp, one of the best I have ever been to! Really great runs and the option to go on the second run was great too. I also enjoyed the supplementary work outs. I learned so much that I can take back to my own teammates.

I didn't want to leave!

This camp was amazing! Going into it, I thought I wasn’t going to have a great time because well it’s a running camp, but by the end of the second day I was in love with everything about it: early morning runs, pacing contests, and all the other competitions. Even the extra curricular activities such as volleyball, idol, talent show, and the scavenger hunt. Most of all I loved the team environment and all the coaches and staff!! This camp was way better than I thought possible and I didn’t want to leave!

Bonding with Old & New Friends

I thought the camp was both helpful in helping my endurance and skill for our sport while it also provided many opportunities to bond socially with current friends and new ones made at camp. I would highly recommend this for any runner, no matter what ability level.

Great All Around Camp & Best Nutrition

My name is Kelley Tompkins, and I am writing to thank you for a great week at camp. I had such an amazing experience with my team and I am looking forward to this summer. I learned so much at camp that has really helped my team and me this cross country season. The short thirty minute breakout sessions were very beneficial in learning about running and nutrition. I am so grateful to be able to go to such a great camp with coaches who care about helping others learn. I thought the video analysis was highly educational and it really helped to improve my running.

Most camps I have been to never have great food, but I would just like to thank you for the outstanding selection of food. Also, all the activities we play every night make this camp so much better because you have time to relax and just have fun. I think the activities are a great way to meet people at camp. My team and I had such an awesome time I did not want to leave, despite the challenge of buzzard bait the last day. I cannot thank you enough for such a great experience at camp and I am so excited for this summer. I look forward to another incredible week of camp.
