Join Nike Elite Rugby Camps for a special two-day camp in Houston on the same weekend as the international test match between the US and Ireland at BBVA stadium. Current and former USA Rugby players and coaches will be on hand to provide instruction for players of all abilities and to offer insight into what it takes to compete at the highest level. Campers will train on immaculate facilities at the centrally located Regis School, under the direction of Regis rugby coach, Gary Holub and Elite Rugby Camps founder, Ethan Willis.
Elite has designed and coordinated the finest rugby camp system in the nation, benefiting over 5,000 new and experienced players. The Nike Elite Rugby Camp in Houston includes all rugby instruction, touch-rugby, and match play.

Regis School
The Regis School of the Sacred Heart is a primary and middle school for boys located at 7330 Westview Drive in the Spring Branch area of Houston. The Regis School is centrally located and close to all major freeways in Houston.

Gary Holub is a longtime rugby coach and educator. An alumnus of Sam Houston State, Coach Holub was inducted to the Sam Houston Rugby Hall of Fame and was recently awarded the Lifetime Achievement Award.
Read Full BioGary has been the Athletic Director at the Regis School in Houston since 1999 and is the head coach of the rugby team. Regis has won eight consecutive Catholic School titles under Coach Holub's tutelage.

Ethan Willis
Founder of Elite Rugby Camps, Ethan Willis has mentored and coached over 5,000 young aspiring Rugby players. Willis has played a major role in the current explosion of Rugby onto the USA sporting scene. Ethan’s players have gained numerous accolades in the sport of rugby, but more importantly have left camp with an understanding of how to become successful on and off the rugby field. Ethan currently plays rugby for the infamous Old Mission Beach Athletic Club in San Diego. Willis is a life long educator, graduating from the University of Rhode Island with a degree in education. He continually attends coaching clinics domestically and abroad to stay updated on the continually changing game.

Our curriculum is the perfect blend of expert coaching, constructive drills, and match play. With two outstanding coaches in Ethan Willis and Gary Holub, players can leave camp with a greater confidence and passion for the game.
Be a spectator at the International Test Match Between the USA Men's Eagles and Ireland!
The Nike Elite Rugby Camp will take place on June 7th and 8th. On the final evening of the camp, players will have an inspirational opportunity to watch world-class rugby as the USA Eagles take on the Irish national team at the BBVA Compass Stadium. The game starts at 7:30pm on Saturday June 8th, tickets start at $20 dollars and are available here.
Program Options
The day camp in Houston runs from 9:00am - 4:00pm daily. Day campers will be dropped off and picked up at the end of each day at the Regis School in Houston.
Check-In and Check-Out
Check-in will take place between 8:30am and 9:00am on the first day of camp. Check-out will take place at 4:00pm on the last day of camp.
Team Discounts
Elite is offering a $15 per player discount for five or more team members from the same club. Please call 800-645-3226 and register by phone to receive the discount.
Meals
Lunch is not included and campers are advised to bring their own lunch and snacks.
Supervision
Campers are supervised all day with a strict 8:1 camper to coach ratio. Drugs, alcohol and tobacco are strictly prohibited, and constitute, along with general misconduct, grounds for dismissal from camp without a refund.
Transportation
Nike Elite Rugby Camps do not provide transportation to and from airports, bus depots or train stations. The packet we send to registered campers in the spring offers suggestions on shuttle services for each specific camp.
Registration Packets
A detailed camper registration packet containing check in location, health/release forms, emergency contact info, and a list of things to bring will be emailed to all registered campers in the spring.
Sample Daily Schedule
- 8:00am Check in at the Regis School in Houston
- 9:00am - 11:00am Training Session: catch and pass technique, defensive structure, tackle technique
- 11:00am - 11:45am Touch Rugby/Scrimmage
- Noon - 1:00pm Campers eat their own packed lunch while listening to motivational speeches from Team USA players
- 1:00pm - 3:00pm Training Session: position specific training; forwards and backs
- 3:00pm - 4:00pm Touch Rugby/Scrimmage
