Nike Rugby Camps provide a high level training environment for young rugby athletes, based on focus, commitment, passion, work ethic, skill, and enjoyment. Players receive specialized coaching geared toward developing improved individual and team skills. With coaches who are passionate about the game of rugby, players can expect to further increase their love and motivation for the game.
The overnight program includes key fundamental drills, educational seminars, team strategies, match play, film analysis, meals, housing and group activities. Players will be staying in residence halls located on campus as well as eating in campus dining halls.
Early arrivals are responsible for own accommodations as dormitory accommodation is not available the night before the clinic starts.
Check-In and Check-Out
Please note there will be no early arrivals, as dormitory accommodation is not available the night before clinic starts. On the first day, check-in takes place from 12:00 -12:30pm at the dormitories. Check-out takes place at 5.30pm on the last day at the rugby fields.
Overnight participants: we are offering a $30 per player discount for five or more team members from the same team/club.
Linens and A/C
Campers need to bring their own linens. There is A/C in the dorms.
Campers are supervised 24 hours a day. The staff will reside in the residence halls with the campers and participate in evening activities. Supervision will be maintained at an 8:1 staff to camper ratio at all times. Campus rules and regulations will be strictly enforced at all times.
Athletes are responsible for travel to and from Governor's Academy. The packet we send to registered campers in the spring offers suggestions on shuttle services for each specific location.
A detailed camper registration packet containing check in location, health/release forms, emergency contact info, and a checklist of what to bring will be emailed to all registered players prior to arrival.
