Pacific Cross Country High Altitude camp offers a great opportunity for the up and coming distance runner to get a glimpse at what it means to be a collegiate runner.
Pacific’s Nike High Altitude Camp is a one of a kind camp. It not only gives campers summer altitude training but a glimpse of current philosophies of training and racing at the colligate level. Our camp will give the camper individual attention and help them on their way of accomplishing their goals for the upcoming cross country season. Each day campers will participate in a learning session which includes an exercise physiology lesson. This lesson contains information on the 3 energy systems and how they are used when training and racing. Campers will also be able to talk to NCAA Div 1 athletes and ask questions about the college experience. Along with the daily running and learning schedules campers will enjoy friendly competition between groups, such as ultimate Frisbee, dodge ball and much more. Campers will learn what it means to be a teammate and the importance of a distance team.
Highlights Include
- Nike Running Camp T-shirt
