Complete Player Soccer Camp
This camp offers training in all aspects of soccer including leadership and confidence training. NBC's Complete Player curriculum is all encompassing to help athletes develop and master skills to play the game of soccer with excellence. Complete Player camps offer overnight (complete program training) and extended day options for those who commute to and from camp each morning and evening.

Bound on three sides by a residential area, the Newberg campus of George Fox University borders Hess Creek. George Fox University campers will be staying in beautiful residential dorms. Each room accommodates two campers, with nearby private shower facilities. These rooms are not air-conditioned and we suggest you bring a fan. Roommates are assigned prior to the first day of camp. All roommate requests should be noted during registration or emailed to Mark Johnson (mark.johnson1410@gmail.com) at least one week prior to camp.
George Fox does have a pool available to the campers. It is a park & recreation public pool that is next door to the campus. Campers will only use this pool as a supervised group. Campers do not have to swim.The cafeteria facility provides an all-you-can-eat salad bar with fresh fruit, hot entrees with beverage, sandwich and cereal stations.

Mark Johnson
Mark Johnson is a long time NBC Camper, Coach, Master Teacher, and Assistant Director. This is Mark's 3rd year as Camp director at GFU.
Andrew Paine
For Andrew Paine, 2012 marked his second season as the head coach of women's soccer at Hope International University. Along with his coaching duties, Paine serves as an adjunct professor in the Hope International University College of Business & Management.

Prior to his arrival at HIU, Paine spent five and a half years as an assistant women's soccer coach at George Fox University in Newberg, OR. As a coach he worked very closing with the defense while also handling a large load of the administrative duties.
As a player, Paine spent his collegiate days playing for the George Fox University Bruins from 2001-2004 where he was a four year defensive star. Paine's play garnered him many awards, including Freshman of the Year in 2001 and team captain honors his junior year.
Starting with his days as a college student, Paine has spent six of the last nine summers as an instructor at Christian soccer camps teaching soccer skill development and biblical values. The camps, geared toward developing athletes, have sent Paine all over the continental United States (Texas, South Carolina, Colorado, Oklahoma, and inter-city Los Angeles) as well as to Haiti and Thailand. Paine currently resides in Fullerton, CA, and is an active member of Rock Harbor Church also in Fullerton, CA.
We love the personal relationships that are built each year she has gone to camp here. The life lessons they teach are not only ones they can use in their personal lives, but within their sport as well. They work hard them hard and without a complaint. Having too much fun working and making new friends. We love this camp. parent of a happy camper
