Camp Director
Patrick Johnston
Women’s Soccer Head Coach Patrick Johnston is entering his third season on the Mountain and is looking to improve on a 2010 campaign that proved to be one of the most successful in school history. Overall, Johnston led the Tigers to a 12-6 mark a season ago. During that time Sewanee outscored their opponents 42-18.
In 2009 the Tigers finished the season at 11-3-3 and posted the highest win percentage in the program’s history. After a second place SCAC finish, the Tigers ended the year with a ranking in the NCAA Regional Rankings for the first time since 2005.
Johnston’s 20-plus years of coaching experience includes stops at Illinois State University, UNC Greensboro, Barry University and James Madison University, among others. He has also coached professionally with the New Orleans Gamblers in the A League.
