Join head women's coach Kwame Lloyd for an academy which allows players to expand their skills and knowledge of the game while meeting new players, friends and coaches.
The camps are equipped to handle teams and individual players who are looking for high-impact soccer and fun. A balance is created at camp between serious concentration on skills and having a great time on Wittenberg's beautiful campus. Most importantly, we want to make sure each player has an enjoyable learning experience and leaves camps with a new appreciation for the game.

Campers will train on the Edwards-Maurer Field in the Wittenberg Stadium. In 2005, the field's carpet-style artificial surface was replaced with state-of-the-art Prestige artificial turf by Astroturf.

Kwame Lloyd
Kwame Lloyd was hired as Wittenberg's women's soccer head coach in July 2011. Lloyd came to Wittenberg after a brief time as an assistant coach at Gardner Webb University, where he was responsible for coordinating recruiting activities and evaluating prospective student-athletes. He also managed team travel and acted as the program's liaison to the compliance and academic services directors.
In his first season on the Wittenberg sidelines, Lloyd coached and guided 5 players to receive NCAC recoginition.
Read Full BioLloyd was named Most Outstanding Freshman in 1988 at Lincoln University before transferring to Susquehanna University and earning three letters in both soccer and track & field. He was the soccer team's Most Valuable Player in 1990 and he served as team captain for the track team in 1992 and 1993. After earning his bachelor's degree in political science from Susquehanna, he played one year with the Harrisburg Heat of the National Professional Soccer League.
Lloyd returned to his alma mater to begin his coaching career, serving as head coach of the women's soccer team and assistant coach of the women's lacrosse team from 1994-97. From there, he went to Whittier College for four years as director of soccer and women's lacrosse coach. He oversaw all management and administration for the men's and women's soccer and women's lacrosse programs, served as an NCAA Regional Committee member, taught a fitness and wellness course and directed an annual soccer camp.
From 2001-08, Lloyd served as head coach of both the women's soccer and women's lacrosse teams at Christopher Newport University. He led the soccer team to four USA South Athletic Conference regular season titles, three USA South Tournament crowns and three appearances in the NCAA Division III Tournament, including a national quarterfinal finish in 2004. His lacrosse teams won three regular season and two tournament titles in conference play and advanced to the NCAA Division III Tournament twice.
Along the way, Lloyd earned four USA South women's soccer Coach of the Year designations and three USA women's lacrosse Coach of the Year awards. He also was named VaSID All-State Coach of the Year in 2004.
Lloyd's last head coaching stop prior to Wittenberg came at the University of Vermont between 2008 and 2010. His career women's soccer coaching record now stands at 114-106-16, including a mark of 107-64-12 at the NCAA Division III level.
Lloyd and his wife, Julie, have two children, a son named Kijana and daughter named Jada.
Campers are housed in the campus dormitories and experience traditional college living. Individuals and teams are encouraged to attend.
What's included in the fee? The Girls Advanced Residential Soccer Academy at Wittenberg University encompasses three types of competitor in an environment filled with passion, enthusiasm and high level instruction. High School teams will be utilizing the Wittenberg coaching staff to prepare for their upcoming seasons. Individuals will be training with the Wittenberg coaches to sharpen their skills and technique while expanding an understanding for the game at an elite level. Overall the camp involves intense morning training, small sided afternoon competition and competitive full sided evening matches for high school age players to gain an edge going to their high school preseason camps.
Overnight Campers: Professional coaching and instruction, all meals, housing, supervision and evening activities.
Extended Day Campers 9am-9pm: Professional coaching and instruction, lunch, dinner and evening activities.
Soccer balls may be purchased when you register for camp for an additional $15. Campers are not required to bring a ball to camp and purchasing one is optional.

Roommates: If you have a roommate request, and have not already given it to us, please do so no later than 14 days before the start of camp. We will do our best to grant roommate requests. Due to the large number of single rooms, not all requests will be able to be granted. If you don't have a roommate request; you will be placed in a room with someone near your age or in a single room.

Key Deposit: Please bring a $40 check to camp made out to USSC for the Room Key Deposit. We will return it at the end of camp in exchange for your key.
