Nike Middle States Soccer Camp Widener University Chester, Pennsylvania

Join us at Widener University for a week of intensive soccer training. The best place to become a better soccer player is in the company of coaches and players who share your passion. At the Nike Middle States Soccer Camp, our goal is to stimulate a love for the game in young athletes by showing them how to accelerate their own progress and success.

The Pre-Season Training Session is designed to address the technical, tactical and conditioning needs of individual players and teams who are aiming for excellence during the fall season. Under the direction of Widener Men’s Coach Brent Jacquette, the training establishes a solid foundation on which high school and club sides can build for the weeks ahead. Execution of skill under match conditions is stressed as are both offensive and defensive principles of play. Such concepts as width, penetration, and depth in attack and pressure, support, and balance in defense are developed within practice sessions and controlled scrimmages. Training is conducted in an isolated soccer environment with few distractions.

Highlights Include
