2014 Camp Information

Adelphi Soccer Camp is directed and staffed by both the Adelphi Coaches and its current players. Former and current professional coaches and players will also be highlighted as camp instructors.

Campers will work with the Adelphi Men’s Soccer Coaches and other top instructors in the game to learn the fundamental and advanced skills in: Dribbling, Passing, Ball Control, Shooting and Heading. Each day includes small sided games, practice tactics and game tactics. During the camp the players will have the opportunity to experience all that Adelphi’s brand new facilities have to offer including the locker rooms, training facilities, pool, and the opportunity to play under the lights on Adelphi’s Competition Field Soccer Stadium.

The Camp will be a great opportunity for players to get a feel for what a preseason college experience is like. It will focus on all the aspects of the game a college player must be able to perform including advanced technical, tactical, and functional training at the highest level. Each day the players will get a feel for not only what is expected from a Division I and Division II soccer player on the field but also off the field in classroom tactical sessions. Improve skills

I would recommend the camp for people who are looking to actually improve their skills and have a hope to one day play pro. So if your looking to "have fun" go play in the park with your friends. If you want to work hard and improve yourself believe me these 3 days are most definitely worth it!

Better each day!

They gave time to scrimmage and use the skill learned that day into scrimmage. They made the new skills easy to learn. Each day I felt I became a better player.
