The Nike Soccer Camp at Otterbein University is located in Westerville about 20 minutes north of downtown Columbus.
At the Great Britain Soccer Camp at Otterbein U, our goal is to stimulate a love for the game in young athletes by showing them how to accelerate their own progress and success. By partnering with NIKE, our title sponsor, and working with the country’s best coaches, we are able to offer an unforgettable growth experience no matter what your age or skill level.

Campers will train on the Clements Field on campus. Our Camp staff consists of qualified and experienced coaches and players to assist the directors at the camp and ensure appropriate ratios for instruction. Camp Director
Gerry D'Arcy
Gerry D’Arcy prepares to enter his 24th season as the head men’s soccer coach at Otterbein University this coming fall.
Under his direction, the Cardinals have advanced into the NCAA Division III Tournament five times, winning five post-season Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC) Tournaments, as well as winning or sharing the OAC regular-season title four times.
D’Arcy helped lead Otterbein to its best season ever in 2002. The Cardinals recorded a school and conference record 23 wins and finished second in the NCAA Division III Tournament.
The Cardinals captured both the OAC regular-season and tournament championships in 2002, earning D’Arcy OAC Coach of the Year, Ohio Coach of the Year, and Great Lakes Region Coach of the Year honors. He was also selected OAC Coach of the Year in 1997 and 1999.
A native of London, England, D’Arcy possesses an extensive coaching background. He is a USSF “A” licensed coach and has worked as a staff coach for the USSF licensing other coaches. He has conducted coaching sessions for the NSCAA and is a coordinator for Great Britain Soccer Camps, Inc. D’Arcy worked as a staff coach for the Olympic Development Program at the district, state, and regional level for many years.
D’Arcy completed his undergraduate teaching qualifications at prestigious Loughborough University in England and his master’s degree at Kent State University.

Michael Mundy
A 2000 graduate of Otterbein, Mike recently completed his third season as an assistant coach for the men’s soccer team.
As a Cardinal, Mike was a leading member of a team that won three OAC Championship titles, two OAC league titles, and competed in Otterbein’s first three NCAA appearances.
Mundey has over 10 years coaching experience developing youth players at competitive club level, with teams that have ranked as high as fifth nationally in their age group.
A detailed camper registration packet containing check-in location, health/release forms, emergency contact info, and a list of things to bring will be emailed to all registered campers prior to camp. Our health and release forms do not require a doctor's signature and they will be collected on the first day of camp.
What's included in the fee?
Overnight Campers: Professional coaching and instruction, all meals, housing, supervision and evening activities.
Extended Day Campers 9am-9pm: Professional coaching and instruction, lunch, dinner and evening activities.
Half Day campers 9am-12pm: Professional coaching and instruction.
Soccer balls may be purchased when you register for camp for an additional $15. Campers are not required to bring a ball to camp and purchasing one is optional.
Sample Daily Schedule
SESSION INFORMATION
Check-in: Session I (Half Day Camp) At the fields between 8:30-am-9:00am. Campers will need to bring their own snack for 10:30am break.
Session II (Overnight Camp): Check in at Otterbein Campus Center between 1:00-2:00 p.m. The first session will begin at 2. Dinner will be the first meal served.
Check out: Session I: Camp ends on Friday, June 15th. Final games will be played in the morning at the soccer fields (Parents are welcome to watch final games). Camp ends at 12:00pm.
Session II: Camp ends on Wednesday, June 20th.Final games will be played between 9:30 ‐11:00am at the soccer field (Parents are welcome to watch final games). Check out will follow the final games between 12:00-1:00pm from the dorms.

From the NORTH: Take I-71 south to the Gemini Place. After the exit, turn left on Gemini Place, follow the road as it turns to the right. Then turn left on Polaris Parkway toward Cleveland Avenue (2 miles). Turn right on Cleveland Avenue, travel approximately .5 mile and turn left onto County Line Rd. Turn right on West St. and travel approximately 1 mile. Turn left at Main St. and then at the first street turn left onto Center Street. Parking can be found in the lots west of the football stadium.
From the SOUTH: On I-71, Route 315, or Route 23, take I-270 East (Wheeling) on the North side of Columbus. Follow I-270 to the Cleveland Avenue exit north. Follow Cleveland Avenue north and make a right onto Mait St. Travel approximately .5 mile then turn left onto Center Street. Parking can be found in the lots west of the football stadium.
From the EAST or WEST: On I-70, take I-270 North towards Cleveland). Follow I-270 to the Cleveland Avenue exit north. Follow Cleveland Avenue north and make a right onto Main St. Travel approximately .5 mile then turn left onto Center Street (second stop light). Parking can be found in the lots west of the football stadium.
