Located in the beautiful Rocky Mountains, Montana State University offers stunning scenery and ideal weather for a fantastic tennis camp experience. The University campus offers campers modern athletic facilities, such as eight resurfaced outdoor courts with new nets and wind-screens, and four newly resurfaced indoor courts.
Bobcat-Anderson Tennis Center:
One of the newest athletic facilities on the MSU campus is the Bobcat-Anderson Tennis Center, which was completed in December of 2002. The permanent structure houses four indoor courts and a 27,000 square-foot foundation, and replaces the previous bubble complex. The new state-of-the-art lighting and heating systems makes the Bobcat-Anderson Tennis Center the best indoor complex on a Big Sky Conference campus, and perhaps one of the finest facilities in the Northwest.
The center is named for Marcia Anderson M.D. and her husband "Buck," who are long-time Gallatin Valley ranchers. Through Marcia Anderson's generous contributions the Bobcat Tennis Center provides quality year round facilities for MSU student-athletes and Bozeman tennis players of all ages

Read Full BioMike Phillips is in his 12th season at Montana State. Formerly an assistant with the men's tennis team at the University of Colorado, Phillips has already made his mark at MSU, as the Bobcats have been one of the top teams in the Big Sky Conference during his tenure.
Phillips has led MSU to three Big Sky titles and NCAA Championship appearances. In addition, he garnered a slew of coaching accolades.
Phillips has guided the Bobcats to unprecedented heights, as MSU captured the Big Sky Conference championship and earned the league's automatic berth to the NCAA Championships, three consecutive seasons.
During that time, the Bobcats secured their first-ever doubles entry in the NCAA Championships; had their first-ever player (Federico Ueltschi) ranked among the top 100 players; and garnered a first-team CoSIDA District VII Academic honoree in Marek Gebicki.
For his efforts, Phillips has earned numerous Big Sky Conference Coach of the Year kudos.
"We're very excited to have someone of Mike's caliber head the men's squad," said MSU senior associate athletics director for internal operations Dan Davies, who oversees the program. "It is exciting to have a coach with Mike's passion, energy and vision."
Phillips served as men's assistant coach at CU since 1997, under the direction of Scott Davidhoff. The Buffaloes posted an 11-11 mark last season, and notched 33 wins during his tenure in Boulder.
"I'm look forward to the challenge of coaching the Bobcats every day I'm with the athletes," Phillips said. "The men's team has an outstanding tradition. The program has been highly successful, including winning the 2000, 2004, 2005 and 2006 Big Sky titles and playing in the opening round of the NCAA Championships.
We'll look to use past successes as a springboard for the future."
Prior to his time at CU, Phillips served as a tennis pro for two years at the Breckenridge Recreation Center and was the head pro and program director at the Boulder Country Club for four years. He also served as a tennis pro at the Tennis Club of Albuquerque.
As a player, he played collegiately at Mesa State College in Grand Junction, Colo., where his team was ranked in the top 20 of the NAIA. Phillips was twice named MVP of the Mavericks in his four-year career.
A native of Las Cruces, N.M., Phillips earned a bachelor's degree in kinesiology in 1999 from Colorado. He and his wife Ginger, a former CU women's assistant coach, have conducted numerous camps and clinics throughout the Unites States.

Getting to Know the Couselors
I really enjoyed having the counselors as our dorm counselors too because we got to have fun with them and get to know them off the court. They also got to know us off the court and see what our personality is like. They made it fun to go to camp and they always encouraged us to do our best. This camp improved my game greatly and it was also fun getting to know all of the people that went to camp during fun activities. I will definitely be returning to camp next year! Thank you!

Tennis With Friends
I loved the camp, it was so much fun! I loved the activities after practicing. We got to play tennis with our friends for 6 hours we got to hang out with them outside of tennis. I got to meet lots of new people from a lot of different places. The consolers were such a big help. It was also nice to get to know more about them when they were our dorm advisers. They were sooooooo much fun.
