Hand-Down the best camp!
My son had tournament experience before attending camp and has a private coach that is outstanding, so I was skeptical whether or not the coaches at Nike Ocean Reef would be able to enhance his skills. Coaches Polito and Cashman did such a great job of pairing the kids in groups of skill level but also mixed up skill levels and strictly enforced that all players would encourage others. Even though the work was hard (footwork drills, running, etc.), my son had FUN and made some really good friendships. The kids cheered for each other and the environment was lively. I heard the coaches constantly praise all the kids. My son had become stressed by the pressure of tournament play required so often, so we took a break and attended this camp. It was a great decision. He improved, but it was fun. He has attended a Nike camp before, but said hands-down, this was the best camp he has ever been to for any sport. We also loved the locatin of this camp because it gave us, the parents, something to do while the kids played tennis.
