Tips for Downhill Running

All the Nike Running Camps offer the opportunity to run picturesque running trails that offer downhill parts. To avoid injury and to fully enjoy the descends read our tip on proper form for downhill running. 

Tips for Downhill Running!

When running downhill, battle your natural tendency to lean backward. Remember to always engage your core and lean forward slightly from the ankles! Make sure to have a slight bend in your legs so that your knees will be protected from absorbing all the impact. Lastly, speed up your cadence to land more on your midfoot instead of  your heels. Enjoy the float downhill!
