NBC Camps is looking forward to bringing the NBC experience to the game of volleyball at Olds College. NBC Camps offers a comprehensive volleyball program for athletes aspiring to take their game higher.
NBC Camps was founded in 1971. Formerly Northwest Basketball Camp, NBC Camps expanded in 1979 to the sport of volleyball. Volleyball camps are located in Alaska, Alberta, California, Colorado, Montana, Oregon and Washington. NBC Camps combines excellence in sports with superior life skills training focusing on becoming the best athlete you can be on and off the court.
NBC Volleyball Camps offer complete overnight training camps for athletes ages 11-18 who desire to master the sport of volleyball. Training from beginning to advanced includes comprehensive skill development, games and tournaments, leadership curriculum and life skills training.
Complete Player Volleyball Camps: Camp offers training in all aspects of the sport including leadership and confidence training. NBC's Complete Player Volleyball curriculum is all encompassing to help athletes develop and master skills to play the game of volleyball with excellence. Complete Player Camps offer overnight (complete program training) and extended day options for those who commute to and from camp each morning and evening.

Olds College is a beautiful college campus where all the facilities are joined. The gym, dorms and cafeteria are all connected. Campers have nice accommodations including private shower facilities, spacious dorm rooms and quality food services.

Camp Director
Paul Armbruster
Paul has played volleyball at the college, CIS, and Professional Levels. He is a former high school provincial champion, academic all-Canadian and national champion as a pro in Norway.
Read Full BioIn addition, Paul has head coached and been an assistant in high school, college and CIS volleyball, with Team Alberta and the Canadian Junior National Team. Currently, he is the Athletic Director at Prairie Christian Academy and enjoys seeing athletes develop their skills in volleyball and grow in character.
The NBC Difference
Unlike other camp programs where skills training falls under the expertise of the camp director, NBC Camps has built a program of training to help each camper walk out of camp a better player and person. Our site directors work as event managers helping to run a great week of camp. Our volleyball instruction is based on skill curriculum and talent development we believe are essential to take your game to the next level. Though coaching styles and drills may change, our master teachers receive lesson plans and detailed training on how to maximize this week of camp. Coaching at camp is much different than coaching a team. With over 40 years experience, our goal is to give you the best volleyball and life skills instruction possible.
TEC Method
The ability to know, understand and apply is the heart of NBC’s Teach, Encourage, Correct method. True teaching takes place when the student knows how to reproduce the skill and self-correct the skill when it is wrong.

Volleyball Overnight Camp Important Times
Camp Registration begins 12:30 First day
Awards Program begins 3:00 pm Final day
Camp Ends 4:00 pm Final day

Camp Registration Begins 30 minutes prior to start time First day
Please pick-up your athlete within 10 minutes of schedule ending times!
For extended day campers, check in time each morning during camp will be at 8:30 and check out each night will be around 9 pm. The check-in on the first day and end time on the final day for extended day are the same as overnight campers

Overcome your limits
I would definiely recommend this camp to any level I athleat, if you are at a lower level this camp will teach you a lot an improve your skills. If you are at an advanced level, the coaches test you and push you to overcome your limits!
