Nike Volleyball Camps is proud to announce a new location for 2013, Bryn Athyn College. Join a talented coaching staff for an intense and fun volleyball experience.
This program is open to players of all ability levels, ages 10-18. Here you’ll master the fundamentals, develop proper mechanics and gain game play experience. Every aspect of the game is covered, giving you a solid skill foundation to build upon after camp.

Bai Qing
Bai Qing Liu enters his seventh season at Lehigh University under Head Coach Bob Bertucci after a successful playing and coaching career in his native China.
Prior to coming to Temple, Bai Qing Liu spent 10 seasons coaching the girls' volleyball team at the Shanghai Sports School, one of the most successful girls' volleyball programs in China. From 1994-2004, Liu's unique coaching style and fast offense produced eight national
championships and various Olympians, professional and collegiate players, including former Temple players Sun Ying Ling , Zhen Jia Liu.
Liu also served as the head coach of the Chinese Junior National Team, leading the team to the Asian Junior National Championship in 2001.
Liu was also involved with the men's professional volleyball circuit, competing first as a player from 1978-83 and then as a coach. He served as the assistant coach of the Shanghai men's professional volleyball team from 1983-90 and then took over as head coach from 1990-94. Liu built the team into one of the top professional men's squads in China, leading Shanghai to national titles in '90 and '91.
Liu graduated from the Shanghai Sports University in 1983 with a degree in physical education. His daughter Yan Liu starred for the Owls from 2004-06.
Rich Comly
Coach Comly has over 16 years of experience at the high school, collegiate, and Junior Olympic levels – as a high-level indoor player, a pro beach volleyball player, and as a coach.
Most recently, he was the head coach at the Gwynedd Mercy College Volleyball team where he coached several players to the All-Conference team and made it to the CSAC playoffs.
Read Full BioBefore his stop at Gwynedd, Coach Comly spent 2 seasons at Perkiomen Valley High School, where he started the program and made district playoffs in his first season. He also helped mentor three players who were named All-Conference as well others who went on to play at the collegiate level (West Chester, Kutztown).
He has previously held positions as head coach at Chestnut Hill College where he was named the 2003 AWCC Coach of the Year as the Griffins tripled the amount of wins from the previous year. He also spent time at Division II Philadelphia University. During his time at Synergy Volleyball club, Coach Comly worked with numerous athletes that went on to receive college scholarships and had a chance to work with a player who made the USA National team.
Coach Comly currently is the President and co-founder of Delaware Volleyball Academy. The club has helped produce millions of dollars in scholarships opportunities for its athletes.

Adina Petersmeyer
Adina Petersmeyer enters her third year at the helm of the Bryn Athyn College volleyball team, bringing fifteen years of coaching experience.
Her athletic career included four years playing Division I tennis for Bucknell University, where she played fourth singles and third doubles. Her senior year, she was named captain and won the Patriot League.
Her coaching experience includes tenures coaching at Springfield College, Western New England College, and Avalanche 15's national team. Since 2005, she had been coaching the ANC Secondary Schools' varsity volleyball team and has coached 12 First-Team All League players. In 2009, she was the Independent League runner-up and in 2010 won the league.
Coach Petersmeyer's knowledge of sport-specific physical training benefits the women's team, and brings dedication and athletic sportsmanship to the athletic department.

The NIKE Volleyball camp at Bryn Athyn College provides campers with top quality instruction plus:
Overnight campers: Dormitory housing on campus and all meals are provided.
Extended Day campers (9am-9pm - except on first and last day): Lunch and dinner are provided.
24-hour supervision is an important feature of every NIKE Volleyball Camp. Staff members reside in campers’ quarters and participate in all activities.
Volleyballs: Baden Volleyballs may be purchased when you register for camp for an additional $15. Volleyballs must be paid for at the time of registration. Campers do not need to bring a ball to camp and purchasing one is optional.
