Nike Volleyball Camps is proud to offer two weeks in Austin, Texas this summer. Join Head Coach Christy Clawson-Diver, and her talented staff, at Concordia University Texas this summer for an outstanding volleyball camp experience.
Campers choose from two sessions.
Advanced Camp: July 14-18
The Advanced program is recommended for high school varsity and club players, ages 14-18, with a commitment to the sport and the ability and motivation to play at the college level.
All Skills Camp: July 21-25
The All Skills program is open to players of all ability levels ages, 11-13. Here you’ll master the fundamentals, develop proper mechanics and gain valuable game-play experience.

Christy Clawson-Diver enters her second season as the head volleyball coach at Concordia University Texas. Clawson-Diver became the fifth head coach in program history after Concordia Texas Director of Athletics introduced her on May 22, 2013. In her first season at CTX, Clawson led the Tornados to break a 13 year drought and qualified for the ASC conference tournament/post season play, the first time since 2000.
Clawson-Diver spent the last seven seasons in the same position at Texas Wesleyan, where she led the Rams to a combined 131-120 overall record and a 55-26 ledger in conference play. Under her guidance, the program advanced to the Red River Athletic Conference (RRAC) championship game in 2007 and the league tournament semifinals in three other occasions. Clawson-Diver mentored 40 all-conference selections, five all-region honorees, two NAIA All-Americans and several NAIA Academic All-Americans at the institution.Read Full Bio
Texas Wesleyan logged a 32-16 mark (10-0 RRAC) in 2007 and the Rams were ranked second in Region VI. Clawson-Diver's team at Texas Wesleyan finished the 2012 campaign with a 19-15 overall record, including a 7-4 mark in conference action, and advanced to the semifinal round of the league’s postseason tournament while producing seven all-circuit selections.
Clawson-Diver’s other previous collegiate coaching experiences include serving as an assistant coach at Texas Woman’s from 2002-04 and her alma mater, Texas Lutheran, in 1995. At Texas Woman’s, she was involved with overall training, strength and conditioning, team travel, recruiting, fundraising and directing and developing camps and tournaments while also serving as a home event manager.
Clawson-Diver also held internships with the Southland and Lone Star Conferences and has an extensive amount of coaching experience on the scholastic level. Before her arrival at Texas Wesleyan, she worked for Keller ISD from 2004-06 as an outdoor education instructor and coordinator while also assisting with the volleyball and soccer teams. Additionally, Clawson-Diver held coaching and teaching positions in the Liberty Hill, Eanes, Pflugerville and Lake Travis ISDs from 1996-2002.
As a player, Clawson-Diver was a standout setter at Texas Lutheran and still holds several school records for service aces (114), service aces per game (0.72) and assists (1,810) in a single season as well as career marks for service aces (247), service aces per game (0.59) and assists per game (9.86). The team captain was named first-team All-Region and first-team All-Heart of Texas Conference while leading the Bulldogs to the 1993 NAIA National Tournament. She was inducted into the Texas Lutheran Athletic Hall of Fame in 2007.
A native of Austin, Clawson-Diver received her bachelor’s degree in kinesiology from Texas Lutheran in 1995 and a master’s in the same discipline with an emphasis in sports administration from Texas Woman’s in 2004. She is a member of the American Volleyball Coaches Association and has achieved IMPACT certification, a Texas teacher certification in biology, health and physical education, a principal certification and a coaches accreditation program (CAP) Level I, II and III certification.
2014 CAMP INFORMATION
The NIKE Volleyball camp at Concordia University provides campers with top quality instruction plus:
Camp runs from 9am-3pm daily. Lunch is not provided. Campers should bring a sack lunch with them each day.
Campers may purchase a Molten volleyball, the official volleyball of US Sports Camp, for $15. Volleyballs are provided for each camper to use during the session and purchasing one is optional.

Check-in: between 8:30am-9:00am on the first day of camp
Check-out: Graduation is at 2:30pm on the last day of camp
*There is no supervision before 9:00am or after 3:00pm, please be on time to pick up your camper.
