Join Coach Sprague at Principia College this summer for outstanding volleyball training.
Principia College offers two sessions for campers to choose from or attend the back-to-back sessions for more training.
Session I- July 21-24, 2013: All Skills/High Intensity Training Camp
All Skills: This program is open to players of all ability levels. Here you’ll master the fundamentals, develop proper mechanics and gain game play experience. Every aspect of the game is covered, giving you a solid skill foundation to build upon after camp.
High Intensity Training Camp: This camp is recommended for high school varsity (entering sophomore, junior or senior year) and club players with a commitment to the sport and the ability and motivation to play in college. This intense, challenging program will stress position play, advanced team techniques and match play.
Session II- July 24-26, 2013: Position Specialty
This programs is designed for players who want to specialize in the Setter, Hitter, or Libero (Defensive Specialist) positions.

Camp Director
Mary Ann Sprague
Mary Ann Sprague has been the head Principia's head volleyball coach since 1999.
As a student at Principia College she was a strong competitor in volleyball, swimming, and track and field and was the recipient of the Howard L. Mitchell Athletic Award her senior year. She has coached volleyball at the Division I, II, Junior College, Club, and high school levels.
Sprague has been a coach and personal trainer for volleyball players for 26 years and currently holds the highest certification granted by the volleyball coaches' accrediting program. Sprague has received three SLIAC Coach of the Year awards. Sprague has been the head coach for the Southern Heat 17s Club team since 2008.
Read Full BioMary Ann has put Principia College on the map with a variety of high quality youth volleyball training programs she runs. She and her college players have coached over 300 local youth since 2008, including programs for kids as young as 2nd grade all the way to her Elite Team Competition Camp for regional high school teams.
Sprague is also Principia's associate athletic director, directing the Sports Information department and the Graduate Assistant program.

Hannah Richards
Hannah transferred to Principia her sophomore year and graduated as a top SLIAC volleyball player in 2010. Hannah was a top producer for Principia as an Outside Hitter. She played the game fearlessly and relentlessly, and her defensive game was both unbeatable and poised. Hannah brings a wealth of experience and a smart vision of the game to her new role on the coaching staff. We look forward to Hannah working with our seven new players to bring a solid consistency and competitive savvy to the Panthers’ game.
The NIKE Volleyball camp at Principia College provides campers with top quality instruction plus:
Overnight campers: Dormitory housing on campus and all meals are provided.
Extended Day campers (9am-9pm - except on first and last day): Lunch and dinner are provided.
24-hour supervision is an important feature of every NIKE Volleyball Camp. Staff members reside in campers’ quarters and participate in all activities.
Volleyballs: Baden Volleyballs may be purchased when you register for camp for an additional $15. Volleyballs must be paid for at the time of registration. Campers do not need to bring a ball to camp and purchasing one is optional.
