Camp Director
Terry Thomas
In Fall 2011, Coach Terry Thomas will be entering his sixth season as the head women's volleyball coach at Southeastern. Thomas has over 37 years of coaching experience, with 11 years coaching high school volleyball and over 26 years coaching college.
In 2010, Thomas arguably led the Lady Fire to their best season in program history, as the Lady Fire won 24 games and clinched a spot in The Sun Conference Tournament. In just the program's second year within the conference, Southeastern earned the tournament's No. 4 seed overall after finishing the regular season with an 8-4 conference record. SEU's quest to the NAIA National Tournament fell short, after losing to Warner University in the conference tournamet.

Thomas led Southeastern to a No. 3 national finish within the NCCAA D-II National Tournament in 2007. The top-three finish tied a school mark for best national finish in a season, which was previously set back in 2005.
Thomas is an energetic coach who is looking to leave his mark on an already very successful program. He believes that “coaching has grown from a skill-based focus to a team-building emphasis.”
He has coached at Blue Mountain Community College, Concordia College, and Warner Pacific College, where he was a part of winning two NCCAA Division I national championships.
While Thomas will challenge athletes to become better athletes on the court, his passion for the Lord makes him a perfect fit for Southeastern University. Thomas cares much more about his players' relationships with God than anything they will achieve on the volleyball court.
