This year US Sports Camps is excited to introduce NESCAC conference colleagues Christi Kelsey and Cora Thompson as they team up as co-directors for the Nike Summer Volleyball Camps at Willams College.
This prestigious private college is nestled in the Berkshire Mountains and has a long history of training student-athletes. Volleyball campers; beginner to advanced, will benefit from an outstanding All Skills program emphasizing technique and skill development in the Chandler Athletic Center Complex.

Co-Director
Christi Kelsey
Williams College Head Coach, Christi Kelsey, enters her second season as head coach of the Ephs; three season prior Kelsey was assistant coach at Harvard University. In 2009 the Ephs complied a 23-9 record on their way to capturing the NESCAC title and advancing to the NCAA Sweet 16. The Ephs have won eight NESCAC titles including four strait years from 2001-2004. Williams volleyball league has advanced to the NCAA Elite Eight in 2002, 2003, 2004, and 2008.

Cora Thompson
Tufts University Head Coach, Cora Thompson, enters her ninth season at the helm of the Jumbos. Since the 2002 season, Tufts has complied an outstanding 180-54 record for a .769 winning percentage and has earned NCAA Tournament berths. In 2009 the Jumbo squad saw their best year yet with an overall, 31-5 record and a trip to the NCAA Elite 8. Thompson earned NESCAC Coach of the Year honors in 2004, 2008 and 2009, and she was named NEWVA Coach of the Year in 2008.

The NIKE Volleyball camp at Williams College provides campers with top quality instruction plus:
Overnight campers: Dormitory housing on campus and all meals are provided.
Extended Day campers (9am-9pm - except on first and last day): Lunch and dinner are provided.
24-hour supervision is an important feature of every NIKE Volleyball Camp. Staff members reside in campers’ quarters and participate in all activities.
Volleyballs: NIKE Volleyballs may be purchased when you register for camp for an additional $25. Volleyballs must be paid for at the time of registration. Campers do not need to bring a ball to camp and purchasing one is optional.

The Williams camp is the best!!!!! Coach Kelsey is the best coach in the country. I recommend this camp for all players at all levels.
Learned so much
NIKE volleyball camp was awsome! I learned so much about the sport. I felt welcomed and encouraged to do my best throughout the week. I had lots of fun and would come every summer!

Good decision
If you're thinking of attending a NIKE camp, it's a really good decision. Even if you think you're a master at any given skill, the amazing coaches at NIKE will make you think twice. In just five days I took a skill I hadn't tried before and turned it into a fluid motion that came naturally (though of course I still need a LOT of work). This camp makes you want to learn so much more just because you leave everyday knowing that you are a better player. It really shows.

The individual attention was really helpful and the focus on all skills, even ones that seemed really basic, helped me improve so much.

Amazing experience
The Nike volleyball camp was an amazing experience. It's full of fun. The athletic side of the camp is harder than expected. There is a nice amount of conditioning & work, but it's all worth it in the end! It's fun for any player at any level of skill in volleyball. Highly recommend it!
