Nike Baseball Camps is pumped to be returning to Central Connecticut State University for the summer of 2026! Designed for players ages 6–12, this four-day camp is all about learning, playing, and having fun out on the diamond. Whether you’re just getting started or already crushing it, the awesome CCSU coaching staff will help you level up every part of your game. Don’t miss out on making new friends, improving your skills, and creating some unforgettable summer memories on the field!
Directors Pat Hall and Bob Nenna bring years of baseball experience and are looking forward to running a great camp for everyone attending.
Pat Hall has been an assistant coach at Central Connecticut State University since 2009 and was inducted into the Team Connecticut Baseball Hall of Fame in 2008. During his tenure, he’s helped lead the Blue Devils to five Northeast Conference Tournament titles and a 2023 regular season championship. Hall has coached multiple All-Americans, a NEC Pitcher of the Year, and guided 66 players to all-conference honors.
Bob Nenna joined Central Connecticut State University as an assistant baseball coach in 2023, bringing over 25 years of coaching experience at the legion, college, and instructional levels. A University of Hartford graduate and former teammate of Jeff Bagwell, Nenna helped CCSU capture both the Northeast Conference Tournament and Regular Season titles in 2023, along with six All-Conference honorees.

Co-Director Pat Hall
Pat Hall came to Central Connecticut as an assistant coach in 2009. He was inducted into the Team Connecticut Baseball Hall of Fame in 2008. He graduated from the University of Bridgeport with a BS in Human Services. Hall resides in Bristol with his wife, Beth Ellen, and their two daughters, Kaylee and Ryleigh.

Co-Director Bob Nenna
Bob Nenna came to Central Connecticut as an assistant coach in 2023. Nenna brings over 25 years of coaching experience at the legion, college and instruction levels. Nenna graduated from the University of Hartford where he played collegiately alongside Jeff Bagwell. He graduated with a BS in Criminal Justice. Nenna currently lives in Newington with his wife, Joy, and two children, Abby and Jack.

Camp Details
Instruction will focus primarily on hitting, fielding, base-running, and game situations. You can expect high demand for these first come first serve camper spots, so please be sure to register early.

2026 SUMMER CAMP INFORMATION
- Dates: June 22-26, 2026 | July 27-31, 2026
- Age Group: 6-12
- Camp Type: Day Camp
- Schedule: Monday-Friday | 9:00am-1:00pm
- Check-In: Begins 30 minutes prior to the camp start time.
- Meals: Lunch is not provided. Please bring a snack/lunch to camp each day.

Ratio: 1:10 staff to camper ratio
Groupings: Campers are grouped by ability, age, and experience, per the Director's discretion.

MEDICAL PROTOCOL
Most camps have an athletic trainer on-site to help with illness or injury. In case of an emergency, campers will be transported to the nearest hospital.
TRAVEL
Nike Baseball Camps does not provide transportation from airports, train stations or bus depots. If you have a child flying to camp, please arrange a shuttle or taxi service.
TEAM/GROUP DISCOUNT
If you have a team or group of 5 or more campers registering for the same camp, each camper may be eligible for a discount. To receive the group discount, please have someone email US Sports Camps at [email protected] with the following information: Camp name, list of camper names, and the number of campers. We will respond with a unique discount code for everyone in the group to use during online registration. *Note: Discount amounts vary by program, so please reach out for more details.

Camps are open to any and all entrants, limited only by number, age, grade level and/or gender.

CCSU BASEBALL FIELD:
The CCSU Baseball Field opened in March 2010 for the 2010 baseball season. The first game on the new field was played against the Hartford Hawks on March 10, 2010.
The 2010 Blue Devil baseball team posted a 33-23 overall record in its first season playing on the new field with a home record of 14-7. The teams earned third place in the Northeast Conference with an 18-14 NEC record. In its last three seasons, the Blue Devil baseball team has accumulated 41 wins and a 41-25-1 overall record at home on the CCSU Baseball Field.
The field features state-of-the-art field turf as well as separate enclosed bull pens for both the home and visiting teams. Separate batting cage facilities appear down the right-field line and fans can enjoy the game from the stadium seating provided at the CCSU Baseball Field.
