Complete Player Basketball Camps: Complete Player Camps focus on total skill development from offense to defense, team skills, and athleticism. Complete Player camps train the beginner to advanced basketball player to become excellent. Camps include Intensity Night, games and tournaments, personal skill and athletic assessment. Training includes comprehensive basketball skill instruction, goal setting, leadership, developing confidence and mental toughness, the importance of personal faith and how to elevate your life and your game.

Pure Shooting & Offensive Skills Camp: Shooting is basketball’s most crucial skill. At this camp NBC staff work with campers to gain greater depth as a shooter as well as honing offensive moves. The focus of this camp is to become an offensive threat on the court. All athletes learn how to correct and improve their shot through evaluation, drills, and video work.

Complete Player INTENSIVE Camp:
Competition Emphasis camps are a more advanced version of the standard Complete Player Camps. They are not all-star camps but those who attend these camps tend to be a little older, have been to other camps and want to compete at a higher level against good competition. Though the curriculum is similar we are able to advance at a quicker pace than at our standard Complete Player Camps.

Complete Player camps offer overnight (complete program training) and extended day options for those who commute to and from camp each morning and evening.

NBC's Complete Player basketball curriculum is all encompassing to help athletes develop and master skills to play the game of basketball with excellence.

Camp Questions & Answers

How does it work to have two camps going on at the same time?

Complete Player and Pure Shooting Camp are both held from July 7-10, 2019 at King's. In the morning the athletes are split into different groups/gyms where their training is determined by whatever camp type they signed up for. In the afternoon all kids, based on age and gender, get together in competition groups and play games together using the skills they just worked on in the morning. If ever an athlete wants to switch to a different training group in the morning we do our best to make that happen.

    Loved it!

The fact that it isn't 100% sports was really good for me -- they teach about life too; how to respect yourself and your relationships with others, as well as managing your time appropriately so that you are mentally and physically able to put 110% of everything you have into whatever activity you're doing. The coaches are really encouraging in and out of the gym, and are always available to listen if you need them to. It was an overall great experience that I wouldn't trade for the world - I learned a lot about myself, as well as how to improve my intensity on the court.

    Favourite Memories

Just wanted to thank you for an awesome camp. Kyler spoke very highly of the week. He enjoyed it so much he asked me if he could go next year. The nice thing is, although he loved the basketball and said he learned a lot, he said some of his favorite memories weren't about basketball. Just wanted to let you know that you and your team did an awesome job and hope to see you again.

    Huge Supporter

I wanted to tell you that Cierra LOVED the camp this year and raves about it!! She learned a lot - not just about basketball, but about being a leader on and off the court. It is one thing for a parent to teach their children about being a leader and how to treat others, but when a role model talks to them about it, I think it sinks in just a little bit more! I have to say that I am a huge supporter of what you and your staff do in your camps and would never hesitate recommending your camps to anyone!

    — Sandie R. Parent

    Exceptional Coaching

What is great about NBC is that they offer exceptional coaching and life skills. They show the kids how to work hard by having fun and inventing new ways to do the drills.

    — Julia A. Camper

    Intense learning experience

I have been bringing my kids to NBC Camps for over 12 years now and it is the greatest. I appreciate the positive attitude of all of the staff. It is an intense learning experience. Great skills, variety, athletic drive, and emotional well being are a priority. I can rest easy knowing that it's not a dating camp; girls and boys can focus on their sport rather than getting all emotional. Keep up the great work guys! I hope you continue to keep this basic formula for all of your camps.

    NBC is fantastic

NBC is a completely different camp experience than any camp I've been to before. It's fantastic. The coaches work really hard to bond the campers as a group not only through basketball but off-court activities as well. Not only does a camper improve as a basketball player, but as a leader, a teammate, and person, as well. The basketball drills are fun and informative and provide competitive means to improve your skills, and all the while your coaches fellow campers are cheering you on in a positive learning environment.

    Coming back

NBC camp this year was a fantastic experience. All of the coaches are awesome and really fun to hang out with. I know I grew not only as a basketball player but also a person. This year I got chosen to be awarded the MVP award. I thought that was pretty cool. I think NBC was excellent this year and I for sure coming back next year.

    Life changing experience

NBC camps have proven to be a life changing experience for our daughter. Even at the age of 11 she came home excited to share not only the skills she learned but the discussions that were had at the end of the day in D-groups. She loved her coaches and is dreaming of one day being part of the NBC coaching staff. Thank you so much for giving her such a positive experience!

    Positive experience

I definitely recommend this camp to anyone who loves basketball and would like to excel and learn new skills. The whole experience was positive and made me realize that I can do anything I set my mind to. There was no negative or demeaning done to the campers. All encouraging! Hope to return next year to learn more skills!
