NBC Basketball Camp at Addenbrooke Classical Academy
Make Lasting Changes to Your Game
Nothing Beats Commitment
If you have a son or daughter who loves basketball, help them learn in a fun and encouraging environment with NBC Basketball Junior Camp. Students learn basketball fundamentals correctly which gives them a great foundation for future success. NBC Basketball Camps have been training campers since 1971. Campers work on proper shooting technique even at a young age with fun drills to help build accuracy. Learning a skill correctly takes about 2500 accurate reps but relearning a poorly learn skill takes 25000 reps. NBC gives campers tools to improve shooting, dribbling, defensive understanding and more. Campers work with encouraging and positive coaches who care about every camper.

The NBC Difference
Unlike other camp programs where skills training falls under the expertise of the camp director, NBC Camps has built a program of training to help each camper walk out of camp a better player and person. Our site directors work as event managers helping to run a great week of camp and facilitating the implementation of our specific camp expectations. Our basketball instruction is based on skill curriculum and talent development we believe are essential to take your game to the next level. Though coaching styles and drills may change, our master teachers receive DVDs, lesson plans, and detailed training on how to maximize this week of camp. Coaching at camp is much different than coaching a team. With over 40 years experience, our goal is to give you the best basketball and life skills instruction possible.

Camp Questions & Answers
DO I NEED TO BRING A BASKETBALL TO THIS NBC ADDENBROOKE CAMP?
Yes, every student must have her or his own basketball. We believe that working with the basketball you will be practicing with is important. Developing a habit of working on your basketball skills daily is a goal we have for campers. Everyone is given drills and workouts to do at home and having your own basketball is important for the continuity of this practice.
WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN NBC ADDENBROOKE BASKETBALL CAMP IN DENVER AND THE NBC BASKETBALL CAMP AT COLORADO CHRISTIAN UNIVERSITY?
The NBC basketball camp at Addenbrooke is a junior camp focused on helping younger students improve their skills. Campers come only during the day. The NBC Basketball Camps at CCU are designed to be overnight camps and campers play between 6-10 hours per day. NBC does have an extended day option at this location but it does follow the same pattern as the overnight only campers do not sleep over in the dorms and do not eat breakfast. Camp begins around 7:30am and goes until 9:30 at night. The intensity and expectation for the CCU camp is significantly higher than the day camp. The day camp is designed for younger or more beginning players who want to learn basketball accurately.
