Tusler will enter his sixth season as the head coach of the men's program and his fifth season with the women's team in the 2022-23 academic year.

In 2021, Tusler's men's squad went 0-9 overall (0-5 CCC) while the women's team went 1-5 overall (1-4 CCC). Two of his student-athletes earned All-Conference accolades.

In the COVID-19 pandemic-shortened 2020 season, the men's team finished with an 0-4 mark.

Under Tusler's guidance, the 2019 men's team finished the season 4-15 overall (2-5 CCC) and earned the program's first CCC Tournament appearance since 2010. Following the regular season, Aidan Roach (Norwell, Mass.) was a First Team All-CCC Singles selection.

Tusler tallied a 1-17 overall record during his first season with the men's squad. Under his direction, Aidan Roach (Norwell, Mass.) was a Second Team All-CCC Singles Selection following the regular season.

Tusler comes to Milton having served in many different positions within the tennis coaching profession. Most notably, Tusler served as the Head Coach of the Bentley University men's tennis team from 1991 to 2005. He led the program to the Northeast-10 (NE-10) regular season championship in 1991, 1993, 1995, and the NE-10 Tournament Championship in 1996. Tusler was named the NE-10 Coach of the Year in 1995 and was also a Coach of the Year award recipient again 2007 after he launched Wheelock College's inaugural tennis program and earned his 200th career win as a head coach. Other key stops for Tusler include serving as an assistant coach for the women's tennis team at Harvard University, leading the Crimson to an Ivy League title. Tusler is no stranger to the CCC, previously having served a three-year stint at Salve Regina as the head coach of the men's and women's tennis programs from 2013-16.

Tusler also has extensive experience teaching at the private club level. He has helped develop talent at the junior level as many of his players went onto have successful college careers. From 2008-09 Tusler was the host tennis professional to World Team Tennis' Boston Lobsters and taught many high-profile members of the Boston Red Sox at Jason Varitek's annual Putt-Putt for a charity event at Ferncroft Country Club.

Tusler completed his undergraduate work at Northern Vermont University and is a 1974 graduate of Kimball Union Academy. In addition to his coaching duties at Curry, Tusler serves as the Head Alpine Ski Coach at Wellesley High School, a position he has held over ten years.
