Lou Chapman, former Lead Assistant Men's Basketball Coach at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater, enters his seventh year directing his 3E Basketball Academy with Nike Basketball Camps. Chapman has varsity coaching experience with both girls and boys at the high school level, along with NCAA Division 1 coaching experience. Lou is currently a Physical Education teacher with Milwaukee Public Schools.

Lou believes in engaging athletes under his care in a process driven approach to bring about desired results guided on the pillars of: self-discipline, consistency, persistence, efficiency and extreme focus. During the inception of his coaching career, Lou trained, coached, and mentored many high level players in the Greater Milwaukee Area who earned basketball scholarships to college with many of them playing overseas or in the NBA - the most notable to date is Golden State Warriors forward Kevon Looney. Lou has an uncanny ability to bring out the best in athletes so they can effectively maximize their athletic potential. He is very knowledgeable on the intricacies it takes to be a complete well-rounded basketball player. His experience as a scholarship college basketball player and as a coach at various levels gives him a keen insight on what it takes to experience success as a basketball player on and off the court.

He is the proud father of Donald Chapman (19) and Dalayna Chapman (18).
