Matt Needham

Matt joined Beestera in June 2017 after coaching locally in New York's Capital Region. A teammate of Mike and James at Siena, Matt's vision and ideology for player development aligned with that of Beestera's. Growing up in Sheffield, England, Matt played professionally for Chesterfield Football Club in England's third division before arriving at Siena in 2012, Matt earned All-Rookie Team honors while captaining the team in his Junior and Senior year...

After graduating from Siena, Matt began his coaching career at local teams in the Albany area (Averill Park, Latham Circle, and Alleycats) before joining Beestera as a part-time coach. Matt was instrumental in planning and implementing clubwide training sessions for Brunswick Soccer Club and has been conducting sessions throughout the Capital Region since becoming a part of the Beestera team.

In March 2019, Matt moved to Hartford, Connecticut to expand the Beestera brand before moving back to Albany in November, 2020.
