Nike Football Skills Camps
The Nike Football Skills & Development Training Program is a one-of-a-kind training experience designed to develop young athletes (ages 8-18 / 3rd - 12th grade) into elite football players. This high-intensity, professional-level training program provides exclusive access to former NFL players, professional coaches, and college-experienced trainers.
Athletes will receive position-specific skill development, speed and agility training, and strength and conditioning programming tailored to maximize performance. The curriculum is structured to enhance football IQ, technical skills, and overall athletic ability while fostering character development & leadership training, discipline, and confidence on and off the field.

- Position-Specific Training: Quarterbacks, Wide Receivers, Running Backs, Linemen, Defensive Backs, and Linebackers
- Speed & Agility Development: Acceleration, lateral quickness, reaction time, and explosive movements

Steve Sanders attended Bowling Green State University where he played 4 college football seasons. He finished his career with impressive career stats landing him honors as one of BGSU’s All-Time leading wide receivers.

Camp Coach Devario Allen
Devario Allen, hailing from Saginaw, MI, attended Arthur Hill High School, where he excelled in multiple sports. Allen is a former MHSAA record holder for batting average. He batted .607 and only struck out once. He received a scholarship to play at WV state university, as well as an opportunity to play professional in the MLB Minor Leagues.

Hank Chambers is a dedicated High School/College level experienced Football Coach, Personal Trainer, and Strength & Conditioning Specialist with 15+ years of experience. Coach Chambers passion for helping athletes reach their full potential is at the forefront of his coaching style.

Larry Moyer has 20 years of High School Football Coaching Experience. Having coached several Division I Recruits to receive scholarships as a Head Coach for 13 years in Miami, FL, Coach Moyer brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to the Greater Atlanta NIKE Football Skills Camps Team.

Camp Details
The Greater Atlanta Nike Football Skills Training & Development Program is a 6-week training program and will feature Individualized Football Skills and Agility Training lead by former College and Professional Athletes and Coaches.

2025 CAMP INFORMATION
- Dates: May 5-June 14, 2025
- Age Group: 8-18 (3rd-12th grade)
- Schedule:
- Monday's: 5pm-6:30pm, 6:30pm-8pm
- Wednesday's: 5pm-6:30pm, 6:30pm-8pm
- Thursday's: 5pm-6:30pm, 6:30pm-8pm
- Saturday's: 9am-10:30am, 10:30am-12pm
- PLEASE NOTE: Participants will be able to choose two of the 1.5 hour sessions per week listed above. After registering for this camp, Camp Director Steve Sanders and his team will reach out to parents to put them on a schedule.
6 WEEK TRAINING CURRICULUM
WEEK 1: Foundation & Fundamentals
- Skill Work: Proper stance, footwork, hand placement, ball security, tackling fundamentals
- Speed & Agility: Acceleration drills, reaction training, ladder drills
- Strength & Conditioning: Bodyweight strength, mobility drills, injury prevention techniques
- Football IQ: Introduction to offensive and defensive schemes, breaking down film
- Game Simulation: Non-contact position-specific drills
WEEK 2: Explosiveness & Positional Mastery
- Skill Work: Position-specific breakdowns (QB mechanics, WR route running, DB coverage techniques, Linemen leverage drills)
- Speed & Agility: Plyometric workouts, resistance sprint training, first-step explosion
- Strength & Conditioning: Core activation, stability training, intro to resistance work
- Football IQ: Recognizing defensive coverages, offensive schemes, and alignment
- Game Simulation: 1v1 positional battles
WEEK 3: Strength & Tactical Execution
- Skill Work: Hand combat for linemen, press coverage for DBs, throwing mechanics for QBs
- Speed & Agility: Change of direction drills, short-area burst, acceleration out of cuts
- Strength & Conditioning: Introduction to weight training, proper lifting techniques
- Football IQ: Understanding game tempo, reading pre-snap keys
- Game Simulation: 3-on-3 and small-group competitive drills
WEEK 4: Peak Performance & Competition Focus
- Skill Work: Advanced footwork, situational awareness, special teams development
- Speed & Agility: Reactive speed drills, competition sprints, deceleration control
- Strength & Conditioning: Explosive power workouts, resistance sprinting, core strength
- Football IQ: Studying opponent tendencies, film study for game planning
- Game Simulation: Full 7-on-7 gameplay with coaching adjustments
WEEK 5: Pressure Situations & Execution Under Stress
- Skill Work: High-pressure game situations, red zone execution, two-minute drill training
- Speed & Agility: Competitive agility relays, reaction-based speed drills
- Strength & Conditioning: Max-effort strength testing, conditioning circuits
- Football IQ: Advanced film breakdown, learning from past mistakes
- Game Simulation: Live-action scrimmages with situational adjustments
WEEK 6: Combine Week & Showcase
- Skill Work: NFL Combine-style testing (40-yard dash, shuttle run, broad jump, vertical jump)
- Speed & Agility: Timed sprints, competition-based drills
- Strength & Conditioning: Peak strength testing, final endurance challenge
- Football IQ: Review of game strategies, mental preparation for game days
- Game Simulation: Final 7 o 7 Showcase Game with evaluations and feedback from coaches

MEDICAL PROTOCOL
Most camps have an athletic trainer on-site to help with illness or injury. In case of an emergency, campers will be transported to the nearest hospital.
TRAVEL
Nike Football Camps does not provide transportation from airports, train stations or bus depots. If you have a child flying to camp, please arrange a shuttle or taxi service.
TEAM/GROUP DISCOUNT
If you have a team or group of 5 or more campers registering for the same camp, each camper may be eligible for a discount. To receive the group discount, please have someone email US Sports Camps at [email protected] with the following information: Camp name, list of camper names, and the number of campers.
