IMPROVE YOUR GAME AND HAVE SERIOUS FUN AT NIKE FOOTBALL CAMPS
Register for the Nike Football Camp at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo and receive elite-level training from top coaches in the region. Next Athletes, operator of the Nike Sports Camps at Cal Poly, provides the perfect environment to learn from some of the best coaches in the country. The staff will ensure a positive and encouraging atmosphere each day as campers have a great time competing with each other. During camp, players will develop fundamentals and advanced skills, focusing on footwork, offensive and defensive skills, individual positions, team plays, and game situations. Hosted on campus at Cal Poly, campers have the unique opportunity to train at Mustang Memorial Stadium where Cal Poly Football plays.
CONTACT CAMP (Ages 10-17)
The contact camp is designed to provide players a quality coaching experience across all position focuses. Offered for players of all abilities, ages 10-17, campers will develop fundamentals and advanced skills, focusing on footwork, offensive and defensive skills, individual positions, team plays, and game situations. This camp has a wrap-up only policy to protect players from injury.
SUMMER OVERNIGHT CAMP
The overnight program includes instruction, fun games and competitions for prizes, overnight accommodation, all meals, fun evening activities, and more. The camp staff resides in the dormitories in adjacent rooms to the campers and provides supervision throughout the camp. The camp utilizes Mustang Memorial Field as its training facility.
FLAG CAMP (Ages 7-13)
Our flag football program is an amazing opportunity for younger players to receive high-quality training in a low-contact environment. Open to skill position players ages 7-13, this program provides elite-level coaching and a fun environment!
This camp is open to any and all entrants and is only limited by age, gender and number.

Will Hawes is the former head coach for Judge Memorial Catholic High School and serves as the football director for Next Athletes. Coach Hawes has been a football coach for nearly 25 years and now serves as the Community Relations Coordinator for Judge Memorial. Coach Hawes played collegiate football at Weber State University and has a wealth of athlete and coaching knowledge to share with each young athlete.

Certified Athletic Trainer Kulsum Baig
Kulsum Baig is a certified athletic trainer and handles all athletic training needs for Next Athletes’ Nike Sports Camps. With a Bachelor’s degree in Athletic Training from San Diego State University and a Graduate Certificate in Musculoskeletal Injury Management from the University of Kentucky, Kulsum has worked with athletes at the high school, collegiate, and clinical levels.

Camp Details
Nike Contact Football Camps feature contact drills and scrimmages with a high-quality staff of coaches and players. At camps, "contact" is introduced in a slow, gradual progression before any actual "contact" is initiated. Campers are divided according to age, weight, and ability.

- Overnight Campers: 11:30am-12:00pm at the Ronca Tennis Center
- Day Campers: 12:00-12:30pm for day campers at the Ronca Tennis Center
- Orientation (All Campers): 12:30-12:45pm at the Ronca Tennis Center
- Last Day Check-Out: Following the closing ceremony at 3:30pm on Wednesday at the Ronca Tennis Center.
- Meals: Meals are provided for overnight campers only. Day campers are required to bring their own lunch daily.
- Apparel: All campers should arrive at check-in dressed in their athletic apparel and ready to train.
- Note: Following camp check-in, all overnight campers will have an opportunity to move into their room in the residence hall briefly but please come dressed in your athletic apparel for camp.

Please note: Camp is closed to spectators during daytime hours. Parents are highly encouraged to attend the orientation on the first day and closing ceremony on the final day!
SUMMER DAY CAMP
The Nike Football Camp at Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo also offers a day camp program for campers who do not wish to stay overnight. This option includes instruction and daytime activities only. The schedule is modified on the first and last days of camp.
- Day Camper Drop-Off (Sunday): 12:00-12:30pm at the Ronca Tennis Center see “Summer Camp Info” section for full details about Orientation
- Day Camper Drop-Off (Mon-Wed): 8:45-9:00am at the Ronca Tennis Center
- Day Camper Pick-Up (Sun-Tues): 4:00pm at the Ronca Tennis Center
- Day Camper Pick-Up/Closing Ceremony Location (Wed): 3:30pm at the Ronca Tennis Center
- Parking: Parents can use the Grand Avenue Parking Structure for first day check-in and last day check-out. Parents will need to pay at the kiosk.
PARENT/CAMPER SEMINARS
Both campers and parents are invited to join us from 6:30-7:30pm on the second and third night of camp for evening seminars. Seminar topics will include college recruiting, expectations of a collegiate athlete, how to choose the right school, and important sports psychology topics. We also offer opportunities for Q&A with each panel of coaches.
HOUSING
The information below is based on previous years and is subject to change.
- Dorm: Poly Canyon Village
- Number of Campers Per Room: 2 per room
- Roommates: Rooms are assigned by age & roommate requests. Roommate requests must be mutual. If you don't have a roommate request, you will be placed in a room with someone near your age. It will be a great opportunity to meet someone new!
- Bathrooms: Shared
- Linens: Not included. Bring linens (Twin XL) or a sleeping bag, pillow, pillowcase, and a towel.
- Air Conditioning: None. Campers are in their dorms for very limited hours during the daytime and nightly temperatures are typically mild. However, campers are welcome to bring a small fan.
OVERNIGHT INFORMATION
- Check-in: On the first day of camp, check-in will be between 11:30am-12:00pm
- Check-in Location: The Ronca Tennis Center
- After overnight campers check in, parents and campers will receive their room and access cards and store their luggage in their assigned room.
- Campers should arrive at check-in dressed in their athletic apparel and ready to train.
- Check out: Following the closing ceremony at 3:30pm at the Ronca Tennis Center
- Meals: Day 1: Dinner | Days 2-3: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner | Day 4: Breakfast, Lunch
- Room Key Deposit: Please bring a $100 check made out to “Next Athletes, LLC”
- Closing Ceremony: The closing ceremony will take place at the Ronca Tennis Center. Parents are invited to attend! Campers and parents will depart following the closing ceremony.
SUMMER DAY CAMP HOURS & MEALS
- Sunday: 12:00-4:00pm. Meals are not provided.
- Monday-Tuesday: 9:00am-4:00pm. Meals are not provided. Day campers must pack a lunch.
- Wednesday: 9:00am-3:30pm. Check-out is following the 3:30pm closing ceremony. Meals are not provided.
- The closing ceremony will take place at the Ronca Tennis Center. Parents are invited to attend! Campers and parents will depart following the closing ceremony.
- Meals: Day campers are required to bring their own lunch daily.

MEDICAL PROTOCOL
Most camps have an athletic trainer on-site to help with illness or injury. In case of an emergency, campers will be transported to the nearest hospital.
TRAVEL
Nike Football Camps does not provide transportation from airports, train stations or bus depots. If you have a child flying to camp, please arrange a shuttle or taxi service.
TEAM/GROUP DISCOUNT
If you have a group of campers registering for the same camp, each camper is eligible for a discount. Please have someone contact the US Sports Camps office at 1-800-645-3226 with the names of each camper in the group and we will create a unique discount code for your group. Campers may then register individually through the website at their convenience and apply the offer code during checkout. *Discount amount varies by program. Please call for details.
