Nike Junior Golf Camps
Welcome to the Nike Junior Golf Camp in Arcadia, CA! Join Top 10 Nike Camp Director and U.S. Kids Golf Master Kids Coach, Jeff Hirose, for top-notch instruction and see why thousands of campers have attended this junior golf program. Improve your game and have fun with our experienced teaching professionals this summer!
Full Day Camps
This program is a wonderful way for our campers to enjoy a full day of golf. Full day campers receive three hours of instruction with emphasis on putting, chipping, bunker play and full swing. After morning instruction and a break for lunch, campers will get to apply what they have learned out on the course (course play when available). Full Day Camps run Monday through Friday from 9:00am - 4:00pm and are open to beginner/intermediate, ages 7 - 16. Please note: Lunch is provided for full day campers.
Half Day Camps
This program is a wonderful way for our campers to enjoy a morning/evening of golf. Our Half Day camps are designed to pique the interest of rising new golfers while also offering intermediate golfers the instruction they need to improve their fundamentals. Half day campers receive three hours of instruction with emphasis on putting, chipping, bunker play and full swing. Half Day Camps run Monday through Friday from 9:00am - 12:00pm and are open to beginner/intermediate, ages 7 - 16. Please note: Lunch is NOT provided for half day campers.
This camp is hosted by an outside staff, unrelated to the Arcadia Par 3 instruction team.

U.S. Kids Golf Master Kids Coach (the highest honor an instructor can receive from U.S. Kids Golf) and Certified Titleist Performance Institute Instructor, Jeff Hirose, serves as the Camp Director of the Nike Junior Golf Camps at Arcadia Golf Course.

Camp Details
This program is designed for boys and girls between the ages of 7 and 16. The staff is on hand to provide campers with top quality instruction each day. At Nike Junior Golf Camps we accommodate players of all abilities. The All Abilities program is designed to improve the fundamental skills needed for golf including Putting, Chipping, Bunker Play, Full-Swing and Course Etiquette. On the first day of camp, all participants will be evaluated by the instructors and placed into groups based on age and ability level in various individual, small group and full group settings.

- Program: The Beginner/Intermediate program is designed for players who are just discovering the game or are in the first year of learning the basic fundamentals of golf. Campers will get a jump-start on their golf skills and create a solid foundation to build upon after camp. Campers receive instruction on all skills - putting, chipping, bunker play, and full-swing in various individual, small group and full group settings.

WHAT'S INCLUDED IN THE FEE?
- Instruction: Morning instruction and afternoon course play (for full day campers only)
- Lunch: Lunch is provided for Full Day campers. Campers can bring their own lunch or purchase lunch at the golf course.
- Supervision: Campers are supervised by staff during camp hours.
- Camper Amenity Package: Campers will receive an amenity package including a Nike hat, drawstring bag, SRIXON golf balls, camp workbook, and graduation certificate.
INSTRUCTION, EQUIPMENT & FACILITY
- Ratio: 1:8 staff-to-camper ratio.
- Groupings: Campers are grouped by age, ability, and experience.
- Equipment Needed: Players should supply their own golf clubs, glove, golf balls, and tees. Through Nike Junior Golf Camps we do not provide club rentals at this camp. You can reach out to the Pro-Shop at the golf course to see if they have any rentals available for your session of camp. - Facility: Arcadia Golf Course
- Medical Protocol: Camp will have on-site staff to help with illness or injury. In case of an emergency, campers will be transported to the nearest hospital.

TRANSPORTATION
Transportation is not provided. Campers are responsible for getting to and from camp on their own. There is no supervision before or after camp hours so please make arrangements to pick up your child on time.

- 9:00am Instruction - practice on skills and fundamentals; grip, stance, posture, pitching, putting, bunker play and full swing
- Noon Lunch (not included in camp price, half day campers depart)

Arcadia Golf Course
Arcadia Golf Course, located just east of downtown Los Angeles in Arcadia, CA is an 18-hole Par 3 course measuring 1,947 yards that is great for beginners and players looking to practice their short game. The golf course is located close to the Santa Anita Race Track at the base of the San Gabriel Mountains and has been the hidden treasure of Arcadia since 1962.

My daughter had no previous golf experience. She wanted to try the camp for half day to see if she might like golf. By the end of the second day, she wanted me to sign her up for the following week. She said it was not boring, everyone was friendly and they got out on the course!

LOVED LOVED LOVED IT! Even though I grew up with a family of avid golfers, my son was a bit young and had had no experience with golf prior to the camp. Everyone made him feel welcomed and was eager to teach him not just golf but safety! At the end of each day, he was able to tell me exactly what they had worked on and what he had learned. I couldn't thank the staff enough for the patience they had shown him and the motivation to keep learning. Thank you!

Nike Golf should reevaluate the staff at Arcadia camp. Do instructors need qualification? Big thanks to the junior volunteer who actually taught my son.

The golf cap provided was a large adult cap, not really suitable for the 7-12 year old students. Kids were really bummed about that. The power bars provided were also not age appropriate.
